Great video! Just a question on the type of exercises you do in gym: Do you mainly focused on leg, core, and explosive strength during your gym workouts? Or do you also incorporate some upper body exercises? If so what exercises for upper body would you recommend?
@TheBadmintonZoneHQ19 сағат бұрын
So that is what next months episode is going to be on but in short I tend to focus on a lot of leg power work with some core control and then small upper body bits to prevent injuries

Good luck! Is the grading for the next nationals based on the current system or do they think the new system will be used before then? Looks like they're trialling a new system currently
@TheBadmintonZoneHQКүн бұрын
Hey Charlie, Yes I heard the same. When I last spoke to a Badminton England representative they gave me the impression that it would use the current system. But obviously something we are going to need to keep and eye on and get confirmed.

Hey David, aspiring 16yr old badminton player , do you have advice regarding getting to a national hopefully international level team? also how do you officially play tournaments and get graded?
@TheBadmintonZoneHQКүн бұрын
Hi Ryan, great questions. I would first start by entering some tournaments. You can do that with a Badminton England membership and enter on be.tournamentsoftware. If you haven’t played one before I would enter a Bronze level tournament and see how you go. This will get you a ranking and a grading. Regarding getting to a national level and onwards. I would split your game into 4 sections, Technical, tactical, physical and mental. Try and do something each week that focuses on those areas. Set yourself small targets and aim to smash them 💪

Compared to arcsaber 11 pro?
@TheBadmintonZoneHQ5 күн бұрын
The arcsaber 11 pro is a bit more balanced on the weight, the 700 pro is a head light racket. The arcsaber has a stiffer shaft where as the 700 pro has a medium flex. What did you think of the 700 pro design? Do you use the Arcsaber pro at the moment?

6:05 Loh Kean Yew exploded onto the world stage and took the world champs by storm as a dark horse. He has incredible talent, skills and physique to be a champion. But since then sadly he hasn’t achieved much (he admitted it himself). A lot of people have talked about the importance of stability and mental toughness. Thanks for this training video. They all bring very similar characteristics as part of the same Nanoflare family. The 700 game had a hi flex shaft and still had that light whippy feel to it. Did you like the new design of the racket? That in itself is very different to the other Nanoflare rackets in the range.
