I know I shouldn’t but I kind of actually feel a bit bad for Dr. Gero here. You can even see the look of genuine hurt on his face before Super 17 shot that blast at him. History really did repeat itself in that moment.

What ? No , he literally cut his hair to make it more suitable for battle and was taking Goten and Trunks to go on the space mission saying they slacked off on training instead , he is shown doing intense training in shadow dragon arc before getting ssj4 and becoming as strong as increased full power Ssj4 Goku which is stated in GT Perfect Files .

@@TheThirdJunior267I have watched it , all of what i say is based on that cuz i only watched dub way earlier as a kid. He never said " took couple years off training " that's ur imagination . He said he stopped chasing after Goku after Buu saga and he's going to get stronger still and right now he was genuinely curious about what his limits were . He is literally shown in a training room in the 2nd episode of GT which he's shown in for the first time , when the people who think they've kidnapped Goku call Vegeta for ransom .

People be saying this just because GT is short with many events making the fights short , the treatment in this fight is literally the blueprint of what Vegeta gets at best against major villains , other than the time he sold his soul to beat Goku yet failed to be stronger and had to cheat to even put down Ssj2 Goku then just got a cool moment against Fat buu where he failed to finish him too and only k*lled himself instead . This is literally the same thing except all the pettiness for Goku .

When the residents of the planet asked them if it's even possible for them to beat him , Pan said Goku and Trunks were the two strongest people on their planet , not knowing any better . Trunks said " U may be giving me too much credit by saying i'm second . After all there's Gohan-san ,and dad , not to mention Piccolo-san " .
