Loved my 2008 1125R so much when I totalled it in a crash I bought a 2009 1125R. I think that speaks volumes. I considered and could have bought anything, but for me it's a near perfect bike

I have a 2009 1125r and for me this is a great bike. No mechanical issues after 8k. Bike is fast, has more than enough power and handles beautifully. I ride with a group of buddies who own various Japanese 1 litre bikes and I don't have an issue holding my own when we ride hard.

I support the amero. What we need is for north america to unite. Why do we send our manufacturing to china when mexico can be making all of our cheap crap? If we did this, we wouldn't have to worry about illegal immigration. I say let's keep it all in-house. With canada's resources, mexico's labor, and our technological know-how, north america can become self sustaining. Best of all we could kick china to the curb

the vincent was the first to have the "engine as the frame." on a vincent, the oil tank bolts to the heads, and holds the forks and gastank. the 'triangular rear-section' (swingarm) mounts to the back of the cases and the only other connection is the shocks which mount to the oil tank. do a bit of research, they are really quite impressive.

Are "structural member" and "stressed member" the same thing? Lots of V-Twins currently use the engine as a "stressed member," but all of them also have a frame to speak of. I think the V1000 was unique in that it had no frame at all - the engine itself was the frame.

I own an 1125r and cbr1000...the Buell definitely pulls away faster...but the cbr blows it away after 60mph...both bikes are awesome in their respective ways. NOTE...you must get the Race ECM and aftermarket exhaust for 1125 to make it rideable IMO

Sheeple? How is the only Streetbike that sounds like a Harley (stock) following any other mold? It's completely original and that's why I love it. I have an xb9r and I won't get rid of it. You have no idea how many ppl ask me about my bike and tell me how great it looks and sounds. Im in it for the riding, but hey, if they think the originality of my bike is a nice change from all the ricers and harelys then I'm ok with that.
