I find this song alarming. The assumption that Kovu was “just like Scar” due to his scar could have created the monster he could’ve been. Another thing I find particularly shocking is how Nala doesn’t even argue with Simba. She seemed to see more into Kovu than just the scar. Pride Lands are racist against scars, well, until Kion appears in the lore and then everyone forgets about it.
