It's so much better to go into a restaurant/cafe that staffs no longer wear mask. Thank God overwhelming majority of restaurants/cafes in the city have already dropped mask. Masks is utterly stupid at this point. Only cowards still wear a mask.

You can take MRT from Bukit Bintang to TRX. Only 1 station. Walking is good for exercise but why be nuts in our Malaysian super hot and humid weather? 😂

No need. I just walk to the bus and someone will collect money and give you the ticket. No crowd though.

I didn't go to the Phuket town. I just straight to Patong area when I touched down. This Central Patong Mall is just next to Bangla Road.

Ok, so it's 2023 now and I used Grab taxi at Ho Chi Mihn airport end of August. I used the grab app already downloaded on my phone but did NOT use a sim card -meaning I didn't buy one there. tapped into the airport Wi Fi and made the booking to collect me using cash payment option. I discovered Grab does not come into the airport up to the gate/door but I was collected across the other side in the car park. Obviously though, the Wi ff cut out in the car park area but eventually I found my driver through the licence plate given. Yes, be aware of the vietnamese notes/denomination (money) you are using and check before you arrive. I still gave a small tip for honesty and friendly service but pay the figure which is stated on the grab app.

I did had put tourist simcard that time. I guess there's an 'in-app messenger'. If I remember correctly, the driver did msg me saying he is coming and snap and send him the picture I was waiting.

Based on the information provided on the official website of the Phuket Smart Bus " phuketsmartbus.com/time-table/ ", the last bus timing from the Phuket Airport to Rawai Beach is at 10:30 PM, and the last bus timing from Rawai Beach to the Phuket Airport is at 8:00 PM.
