... please use your eyes as well as your ears. This was Val's first opportunity to play on a Grotrian. The piano is in a workshop, only partially assembled. She's sitting on a short rolling stool that bounces, not a bench. She's genuinely having fun. I hope you can have some fun today, too.

What did such a new piano need to be “renewed “? And what does it actually entail?
@EP-77o25 күн бұрын
My understanding is that it was played by the Laul family, including Indreks son for various events. So it’s being sold as a somewhat unique instrument. As for the “renewed” part. My guess is nothing major. Probably a refinish on everything to make it look new and possibly some light regulation on the action and voicing on hammers. Just my guess.
@PianoWorksAtlanta25 күн бұрын
This instrument was provided by the factory for special events in Tallinn...an event rental piano. "Factory renewed" means that post rental duty, it was serviced and polished by the factory before being shipped to us along side new Estonia pianos in a normal crate. It even comes with a 10 year factory warranty usually reserved for New Estonia pianos.

Hello rudolfpianos. This piano was in our workshop to get a respray and freshen up. We retired it after 10 years of event rentals, so aside from the fresh finish, it's original. As an event rental, we used it to advertise because it is such a remarkable instrument.
