Paris's voice is so soothing. When will she do a guided mindfulness, maybe one that the parent and the child can do together, or even one can done together over long distances as a mean of connection over Thanksgiving? Speaking of Thanksgiving, maybe some gratitude activity for social distancing Thanksgiving?

1:25 This is why I LOVE Paris. She is like a fiction writer. Everything, EVERYTHING can be made into a symbol for the abstract (emotions, healing, family ... ).

Leviticus 26:19-20 [19]And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass (and stone): [20]And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. James 3:13-18 [13]Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. [14]But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. [15]This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. [16]For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. [17]But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. [18]And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Jeremiah 9:19-24 [19]For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out. [20]Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation. [21]For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets. [22]Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them. [23]Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: [24]But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. I liked the vid. You have a good relationship with your son. Most love

This was beautiful to watch! Thank you so much for these lovely nuggets of kindness, I have just come across this channel through your ted talk. I am graduating my final year of university and am writing my thesis on childhood trauma and its effects, so your work has been incredibly helpful! Thank you, would love to get in touch one day and pick your brains! But for now, take care of you and your beautiful family! Thank you for making a difference!

Very valuable sharing of information! I am a somatic psychotherapist working in home with children 0-6 and their families who have experienced trauma through play therapy. Recently, I have been focusing on the vagus nerve and this video is perfect timing. Always looking for ideas and connection to the community of somatic and play therapists! Thank you so much! I am most certainly going to use this wonderful intervention with my clients.

Oops, I just reread what I wrote - I work in the home with children and families using play therapy to address trauma - no, the children and families have NOT experienced trauma in or through play therapy. Sorry for the mix up of grammar. I was really excited about this video and coming across Nurture House.
