🤔 a good tool kit alas, you still need a bench to put the tool box/ kit on, unlike the Topeak Prepstation Pro where you can actually work from the box and turntable trays ..

Until watching this video I had no idea the case was made by Nanuk. Best cases on the market. I only wish Pedro’s tools were more readily available. My suppliers have been out of stock on many items for quite a long time.

Glad you found this video useful, we try our best to keep the tools available as much as possible, sorry for any inconvenience, we hope your suppliers will have stock again soon.

Fascinating I have a long cage Deore XT RD, so the pig's tail is too short to reach all the way up and hook onto the attachment point of top pulley I suppose part of my problem is that I don't own one of them there new-fangled RDs so I have little idea what they look like In general, I might be able to visualize such a new-fangled RD In specific, this particular black-colored RD, along with relatively low-light in the video, makes it hard to determine the exact make/model which would aid me in visualizing the situation Last point - from the video, it appears that I need to back pedal in order to engage the cleaning process of the pig. Again, since I have an 8 speed peasant cogset, I'm sure my chain is much wider than the corresponding chain in the video's 12/13 cog setup This would explain why it is really difficult to back-pedal - with the pig staying in place - without significant effort on my part. In the video, this charming woman - who doesn't speak American English - appears to be having a really easy time back-pedaling I also admit is part of my problem is that I am the absolute opposite of a VSL¹, that is, someone whose brain naturally forms and stores visual images in (brain) memory What does anyone expect from me? I am a theoretical mathematician, not an applied one Now, if anyone wants to discuss my area of specialization, Galois Theory, I would be deliriously happy to do so 1. Visual Spatial Learner

The derailleur in this video is a Shimano XT 12 speed , did you try changing gears in order to change the tension of the derailleur and therefore have the chain closer to the middle part of the derailleur ? In this video the chain is on the smaller side of the cassette (not the smallest cog but close). The back pedalling should work just as well with an 8 speed chain. I hope that helps 😊

@Torch4Life Жыл бұрын
Wouldn't it still work where you just have to hold it in place? I have a Rouloff and am looking at the same scenario as you, no derailleur.
@johnsuarez1404 Жыл бұрын
@@Torch4Life well, yes, and I do have a derailleur, to clarify
@pedroseurope Жыл бұрын
For single speed bikes (bmx, dirt jump… ) you can hook it next to the cassette on the hub/axle or as Torch Matic said , hold it it place 👍
