If I close my eyes, I can see 14 year old me again. I can see myself playing this game for the first time, enraptured by its expansive, dark world. It's interesting how slowing down a piece can bring out these emotions/memories of the past.

Dark Souls has made me a better version of myself in a way. As long as you keep going, you will obtain Victory and find the light in the darkness. You can apply this to real life too. As a Christian, it goes well with encouragement while God guides me towards the light so I can finally sit on the throne of victory when I depart from this cruel but beautiful world. I am still young and I have much to learn and many more encouraging messages to receive and give. Whether or not you are a Christian, I hope that you bring the light of encouragement to this painful world so many more may continue living on in their darkest times.

Can someone please explain to me how dark souls is a good game? It doesn’t give you a clear direction of what to do at the beginning. You feel lost on fire link shrine and it’s gameplay was not very fun. The gameplay is just try and run past a bunch of mobs to go try hard over a boss that will kill a bunch of times or spend an hour trying to kill of the mobs along the way. It’s also a very ugly looking game where a game called dark souls you would expect it to be dark like blood borne but only the cave the leads underground was dark and it was all very grey except for Anor Londo was just like every other bright and fancy location in fantasy. The game was just a bad story, with a bad atmosphere, and a gameplay that is made for people who already play souls games. W music though.

There is a lot of things that you said that could be positive in other people's eyes. No clear direction is a good feature in my opinion because it makes you figure it out and feel more involved in discovering new areas. Boss runs for getting from point A to point B are often difficult in the old games and they fixed it pretty well in Elden Ring. I personally love every souls game and I think ds1 and ds2 have to be a bit of an acquired taste due to their slower pace. And the thing about graphics, it's not a new game, maybe they could have done something different but it's not a huge deal to me. Some of the best games in the series would be Elden Ring or Sekiro, if you haven't played them already, I highly suggest it. Gameplay in every FromSoft game is never easy, starting out is really hard but that's the point, I saw a study on how dark souls of all things has saved people from suicide and depression just by learning how to "Get Gud". It's not the sole factor but it definitely helped those people and I thought it was pretty cool. Anyways, I hope you have a great day and I hope I answered your question somewhat.

As there are only snipers and lookout guards up there. It's no wonder they didn't want any one else getting up there easily. Especially not wanting to get any surprise visits from trogs. I reckon they would of used grappling hooks on ropes. Climbed up to the platforms. Then down again, and given the next bunch of snipers and sentry guards the climbing ropes.

It’s the perfect song for Dark Souls, story-wise. “Souls of Fire” This is what Gwyn wanted us to be; the fleshy, clothed high fantasy humans that even we *as* humans associate ourselves to be. It’s a beautiful melody in contrast to the harsh game that you actually play. Much like humans having Souls of Fire was a beautiful lie imposed by Gwyn. We have Souls of Dark

A place that you rarely go to but when you have bad guys following you this is always the best place to have them follow you to and you look down and you can barely see the bodies of those other bad guys that you lured here to there deaths and very gruesome deaths at that and there are two huge uglies following you right now and they stand at 6'7" and weigh somewhere between 300 to 400 pounds and the other ones weren't as big and heavy as these two but they were very mean and bad and these two are going to be a little or a lot of doing to get them up here but when you do that is when you have to figure out how to get over without hurting yourself because they have bodies as hard as dried cement and all of a sudden one of them steps on an old banana peel and slips into a railing and when his buddy tries to help him you let loose a huge chain and swing it towards them and it strikes them both very hard and over they go but when they finally hit the ground level it's like two huge bombs going off and a seismic like earthquake shaking the bridge and you flee for your life and pray that you will never ever have to come back here again, g'day y'all.
