It took me an hour to try and tint one window on my new Tesla. I got pissed off and quit lol. I can’t get it cut nicely around the edge and I couldn’t get the creases out of the bottom edge. I shrunk it with heat first but no luck.

So is it normal to get ceramic coating on top of the PPF? Or is that dumb? (I know nothing about this stuff but don’t wanna get screwed)…what’s a typical cost for something like this? I see a lot of places saying 3-5k for Cybertruck…is that low?

Is there a vinyl wrap that is similar to this? PPF is a little OD on a Cybertruck that doesn’t have any paint to protect.

ok... this is NOT what stek miami blue looks like in real life. it looks like 0:53 and 1:04 but NEVER looks like 2:22 or 2:31 . the video is intentionally edited or the camera/software is automatically lightening and saturating the image. this is a dark dull color that doesnt look bright even in direct florida sunlight. this is a very misleading video if not literally edited. take it from someone who went through great lengths to get large samples of this product (because stek will not give them to you cause they know they are lying about the color) and at no point is this a beautiful light blue like this video suggests. youve been warned.

Ummm having wrapped more cars in Stek Miami blue than probably any shop on the planet and being personal friends with the owner of Stek… I can assure you this is that film. I also know that this film never shows up well in video. It looks much better in person. Thanks for the warning though 😂

@@josephtorbati5511 the color looks nothing like this and it's much worse in person. It's a dull dark pale blue in real life. And stek is a horrendous company to deal with, so let your friend know that. They won't send large samples or sell parts of rolls, you just have to buy a very expensive whole roll and hope their edited pictures are what the roll looks like in real life if you want a stek product. Shocking the guy trying to sell this product is friends with the owner of the product is trying to defend it. I'm sorry for the customers you've pawned this color off to haha

@@maximusjoseppi5904 I have this film on my wife’s model X. Looks great to me. And the thing about colors… it’s all personal preference and you can prefer something else. It’s really ok. Curiously why didn’t you just goto a local shop and look at it in person? You can come to mine! I’ll show my model x so you can tell me how ugly it is in person 😜. Hope you have a great weekend

@@josephtorbati5511 it's not about preference, it's about the misrepresentation of the color. In this video and on stek's website it shows the color as this bright vibrant aqua and it's not that at all, even in direct Florida sun. It's a dark blue, which would be fine if they were clear about that. But they upload images of like what they wish they made and not what it really is. And I went to multiple shops to look at it and stek only sends tiny 2x3 samples, won't send big samples or sell parts of rolls.... You either buy a $3k entire roll or nothing. Bad business
