This is stupid. Here are a bunch of artists who are so consumed with their own identity as a rebel, that they create an art movement to try and keep that reputation. “Dada is anti-dada,” as a phrase is a way to desperately cling to that rebellious label. The dada movement was used as both a sword and a shield. They could use this “art movement” to try and tear down anything they like. Yet, if you criticized what they were doing, a dada artist could just fall back on “well, I’m against common sense.” It easily becomes an unfalsifiable narrative. A Dadaist could easily refute someone by saying, “If your anti-dada, you’re one of us because so are we.” I’m not anti-trolling. Trolling is fun and necessary. But it doesn’t hold water as a way of life. I leave you with this..:if you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything.

Fascism is revolutionary and anti-reactionary. Its not like when Hitler came to power he invited the Kaiser back to the throne. Mussolini didn't topple his monarchy (which eventually came back to bite him in the ass) but he was also revolutionary. Both Hitler and Mussolini chose a more pragmatic method of seizing power than pure revolution though to the dismay of more radical members in their party.

I want to know what the writing is on Ukiyo-e pieces without a Haiku? I've noticed three distinct elements that are common. Writing in no box, writing in no box with a red stamp, wringing in an white/uncoloured box and writing in a red box. The red box and no box are practically on every piece. I'm guessing one is the artist signature and one is the title. But which is which and what about the others?

At one minute 37 seconds we see a canvas by Paul Cezanne. I do not believe he was an Impressionist...rather a post-Impressionist. Also, you might want to check how certain French names are pronounced. We do not pronounce the "et" at the end of the name "Monet" as 'ette'. We pronounce it as the letter A. Clearly, we have chosen to adopt the French pronunciation of the name. So, please pronounce the first syllable as the French do. Monet.:Mon as in mon ami not as in "Mow the lawn " Not Mown-ay but Mohn-ay Also.... DEgas is not Day-Gah. And the final S is not pronounced. REnoir is not Ren- wah. The DE and the RE are pronounced as in JE suis. It is easy enough to Google how a word is properly pronounced.
