What was there not to enjoy about Tales? It had an awesome story, had Guybrush's beat design hands (and hooks) down and gave the most satisfying conclusion to the series of any Monkey Island game.

it would be awesome if they made a firewatch 2 where you get to play as Delilah when she first started working there or when Ned brought Brian so we could get a better back story

The thought of valve employees playing this emotional and well made journey put into a game and going "oh yeah, let's acquire these guys. We need them to update Dota." Makes my blood boil.

It would be nice if they took up the project again and had new misadventures for Ben Throttle and see if there was romance between Mo and Ben and so on, this was a fantastic game and despite getting stuck in some parts I always wondered why there were no sequels if the game was so good.

Woodtick blew me away after I walked in and out of a few rooms at different times in each theme and the music segued perfectly. I’d later read what an accomplishment iMuse was, and how no one wanted it soon after MI2 because of the huge undertaking to make it work!

FULL THROTTLE was one of my most favourite and beloved games of my childhood. Def was a point n click junkie lol ... I would've played EITHER sequel for sure and enjoyed them!

Thanks to the guys who worked on the game and graced us with their presence in the comment section. But yeah, good thing this was scrapped. You'd loose most of the original customers who liked FT1, and you wouldn't get many new ones. Ben looks like he had a botched facial surgery. Reminds me of Mickey Rourke. If you just put out another 2D adventure that continued the story, hoards of fans would've bought it. Always easier in hindsight...

And when Boybrush said it was a dumb ending like my daughter did who played it with me, I chose the line about this importance of the journey and the people you journey with. Meant the word to me. You find the REAL-real Secret of Monkey Island in Tales of Monkey Island.

I felt cheated by the ending at first but as time has gone on I have grown fond of it. Probably the best Monkey Island ending.

First time playing this I just beat the game on stream(Deuce2tymes is my stream) and I’m happy the ending I got

A good list I would change place 1 and 2 to Monkey Island 1+2 and then Indy 4. If, like me, you played monkey island on the amiga as a child, there's no other way. Monkey island 1+2 are the best games of all time for me. No Mario or Zelda

The Secret Of Monkey Island might be my favorite. It's the first classic adventure game I ever played. When i first played it 8 years ago I thought it was too hard so I gave up. I went back to the game about 6 months ago and played through the whole game. Currently playing through Monkey Island 2. Just started playing it.

Its all fun and games until I thought it was part of the lore so as im crying about the pictures i made on the walk to Delilah's. (since i knew the game was ending and i thought henry would die in the fire i decided to use the ones i had left and i also refused to photograph anything that wasn't Delilah's tower through the smoke. Which in retroctive made it all more sad.) And suddenly i am greeted with the corpse of a child because i thought i was meant to gather evidence too.

Zak Mackraken very bad? :o I’m really surprised. It is a really hard game, but the payoff is huge. You should give it a try again. It is a cult classic. And you played the NES version of Maniac Mansion? That is garbage :) the PC, Amiga or C64 version are masterpieces though. The platform you’ re playing a few classic games are really important. One day you should try these again.
