Hare Krishna. Agar app Bhagavdgita Padhna chahte hain toh yatharup Bhagavadgita, Swami Prabhupad ne likhi hui lekar padh sakte hain. Aur Krishna se prarthana karein ki ve aapko guru se milvaye. aapke guru se aapki bhet ho jayegi. pehle aap 2 kadam badhao, Hari naam ka jaap karo aur bhagavadgita padhna shuru karo. Guru swayam prakat ho jayenge krishna prasanna hue toh.

Hello mam, I watched this video. I was in grief today for materialistic thing. This video helped me to overcome of grief. I have few questions which are churning in my mind . I would be grateful if you answer it. 1) As I learned we should not think about the words which are being told by someone to humiliate you. Is it correct that not to protect your self dignity/self respect by allowing some one to do so. Also, not reacting on humiliation will lead you to mental stress. 2) how to balance the life between bhakti and materialistic life? 3) How to meditate properly?

Hare Krishna, Its very nice to hear that this video helped you come out of grief. Regarding your question: 1. Not thinking about Humiliating words : Mind thinks about things which it is told not to think about. So thinking deliberately about divine things helps us neutralize our hurt due to humiliating words. Always burry your head in Bhagavdagita as it is and Srimad Bhagavatam to get insight into "Why"'s of life. 2. Self esteem, Self Respect allows a person to function in day to day life. And the only way Self esteem can be kept high is by connecting ourselves to unlimited reservoir of highest Self Esteem which is Krishna. He has unbreakable Self esteem. So Protecting your Self esteem is necessary, and method is by being Krishna conscious by reading, chanting or listening or serving, praying, worshipping. whichever way suits you. Its important to protect our self esteem by protecting our bhakti. 3. Self esteem is derived from our identity. Your identity will either make you feel low or feel high. Bodily identity makes us feel low. Soul level identity - that I am eternal servitor of Krsna keeps us all time high at self esteem level. 4. How to balance Life ? By converting the intention behind every activity you do as if you are doing for Krishna. If you are eating, eat Prasadam offered to lord. If you are studying, study because you want to earn well, set aside more time for dedicated bhakti, if you are working in office, do it imaculately by being compassionate and helping towards colleagues and also honestly plus offering some part of salary to Lord's temple or devotees. This way - every materialistic activity become Bhakti. Serveing Parents is Bhakti. Taking care of children and wife is Bhakti. Remember krsna always while doing any work and its Bhakti. Then there is nothing material about our existence. Spiritualise everything with your intentions and thoughts 5. How to meditate properly ? Practice makes man Perfect. And there is nothing called as perfect because there is always a room for improvement. Therefore just keep practicing. Keep chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra nad stay happy 🙂. Hope you found your answer.
