which smc protocols are implemented in PySyft?

Unfortunately, what I was looking for was help with installing PyTorch. The instructions in Getting Started are INSCRUTABLE. First I wasted an hour installing Anaconda, only to learn that it doesn't support AMD acceleration; and the alternative, pip installer, was already installed in my Ubuntu system. Great, but then the tutorial says to "in the above selector, choose (this or that)" but this above selector was never specified. What selector? In what app? In pip3 there is no selector; it is a command line app. I tried many things with pip3, all of which gave me inscrutable error messages or discouragements; then I tried >pip3 wheel torch , which resulted in it downloading gazillions of files for CUDA, which I have no use for, as my machine is pure AMD, and at the end it told me it saved a bunch of files to hidden folders, but no hint of what I'm supposed to do next ... I tried typing torch and pytorch at the command line and the command is not found. Like, what the hell is going on?

For me "images, labels = dataiter.next()" returns the following error: "AttributeError: '_MultiProcessingDataLoaderIter' object has no attribute 'next'". I fixed this by changing the line to "images, labels = next(dataiter)" which I think is the correct implementation. But I am still confused, surely an official tutorial video is not mistaken.

So this is why the hugging face models just work. I got the mistral-7b to run on only cpu with hugging face but, on the same machine, the MistralAI version needed NVIDIA GPUs.

It would have been nice if pytorch based parallele ccomputing could be implemented on real world data, especially giant tabular data, and for real world applications. Just spent 9 hours trying to parallelize a simple nn using pytorch, still not possible.
