1): Can you at least tell me the reason why you don’t like Airplane so much? I’m pretty sure the poster isn’t the problem. You can’t judge the movies by its poster 2): Do you like Jan de Bont as a director or a cinematographer? 3): I’m not interested in those cartoon characters.

reasons WHY I don’t like Airplane! 1. the auto pilot is an inflatable 2. Leslie Nielsen is EVERYWHERE 3. the plane dosent tie in a knot like in the poster 4. the Australian title does NOT make sense JDB as director YEP , but only for Twister and why aren’t you interested in these characters…..

@I know that you probably don’t like Leslie Nielsen’s performance, but at least some jokes aren’t outdated like: “I just wanna tell you good luck! We’re all counting on you!”. BTW the plane on the poster is just how they advertise the movie Speaking of Jan De Bont, I did like the 1994 movie Speed, his directorial debut that made De Bont into the A-list of directors. Did you know that Jan De Bont was originally going to direct a Godzilla movie by TriStar (in which Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton were originally the main leads)? I’m was disappointed that TriStar didn’t have some big budget that De Bont hoped for. He was also great as a cinematographer working for John McTiernan in movies like Die Hard and The Hunt for Red October. As for the character that I’m not interested, there are two reasons: 1): I didn’t request them 2): I didn’t watch cartoons with those characters
