I own a 81 stage 1 truck cab, it's original apart from the truck cab it used to be a full length hard top but it was full of drilled holes and difficult to get any heat in it, it's a bit more battered than that one but is on the road and always starts without any problems, thirsty though

Lovely car and I think that;s a good price for a decent XJ6 Mark 1 (which that clearly is).

You obviously made this video before the MOT test as that plates condition was never going to pass, and indeed it didn't. I had a plate fail because the spacing between letters was 5 mm out of spec!!!!! That's a nice car, you have some great vehicles in stock, looking through your inventory.
@motodromehenleyonthames23 күн бұрын
indeed. Believe it or not, our usual plate supplier refused to make a new one as it says 666, so we had to order one in, which didn't arrive in time
@TinWhistleTV23 күн бұрын
I truly love these Jaguars and the fact that it's a 6ltr V12 is the best variation of this car. And the added bonus of having 666 in the number plate is brilliant. I so wish I had the money as I would be chumping at the bits for this vehicle.

The original turbo technic Capri only came in two colours, and was not part of the Capri special. The orginal colour scheme was Burgundy red or silver, and all cars had turbo techniques decal stickers on them. Also as you open the door there was original stickers on the kick panels, that weren't silver. On the boot the badge was smaller too. Also, in the engine there was a plaque with turbo technics on and next to the manufacturers plaque they would have been a plaque put in place by turbo technics. Which I believe were based in Nottingham where Ford sent the cars to have the turbos installed.I know this because the Turbo technics Capri I had was registered under a plate while the work was being carried out.

I had one in Canada. Since we drive on the wrong sidr of the road, the controlls were on the left. I found in our cold winters, the ideal oik for the SU dampers was diesel fuel. The recomended engine oil would thicken and cause sluggish operation. Since we use salt for de-icing roads, it rusted out before it wore out. The engine was transplanted into a Morris Oxford which surprjsed many a North American mussel car.
