Beautiful, very large, well thought out design. There can be a lot of people looking at this w/o being too crowded. Sure would be nice if the Fair supplied the tables.

Didn't feel as though the layout was thought out very well. 24" gap with wires showing was not attractive.

We understand, but sometimes this cannot be helped. We had less than 2 hours to move all our stuff into the library elevator, and set the layout up. I'm glad that you care enough to comment and we really appreciate your support.

Good to see G scale. Not everything was scale but it was for kids and that is all that mattered. NICE!

Scavenger hunt: which person not facing the onlookers has one eye shut? Honestly, looked good. Where were all the people?

The room was crowded much of the time. We try and not get kids faces in the videos unless we have permission.

Nice setup. When I first saw the location I thought of Patten, ME until I read the description.

As the elderly have plenty of time to sit and watch, not sure why the trains were running as fast as they were.

Was the music playing at the village!!!!!!!!!! Would've liked to see more residents but maybe that wasn't allowed??
@maine3railers96411 ай бұрын
No, the music was from iMusic. It might have been fun to have the song playing in the background however. The resident that does appear in the video is a member of the Maine 3 Railers. In general, these communities request that we don't photograph the residents.

I really enjoy your videos. Grew up with HO, switched to N scale, now I'm a die hard 3-railer. I have been using the folding tables for months due to small space, and your simple floating bridge designs have inspired me and allow for a bigger layout. Just built two bridges both allowing for double track - about a 25" gap between tables. Keep up the great work!

Minimal landscaping but the buildings are really good. Would have been nice to have setup dimensions.

We just can't bring much more "stuff"in our vehicles. Usually we have only a couple of hours to set up the layout. Each layout uses essentially the same stuff, but in a different form. Each layout is different. We do have a small mountain with a tunnel through it which we use sometimes. The trees help also. The layout was 11 feet x 15.5 feet.
@oldmanjimh3165 Жыл бұрын
Great to see these displayed and run. In order to keep going you will need to find some dedicated young blood.

For sure, that is why we do this. We hope to get some younger people interested in our hobby. We do have a handful of "junior members."
