Bayern backline isn't a huge issue they aren't brilliant. it's the front players kimmich and alphonso who are the big problem!!!!

Bailey is a much, much better player now, his consistency and all-round play has vastly improved that now he is one of best wingers in the Premier League and a fans favourite at Aston Villa.

We aren’t arrogant we are well aware we’re expected to lose against Bayern. Go ahead and underestimate us we’re used to it but Villa on their day can be a match for any team last season we beat the two current best teams in the Prem. I think it will be very hard but given who our manager is and the fact we’re at home we definitely have a chance. Yes you are more likely to win but even if you do you will have to work for it you won’t just wipe us aside as easily as you think.

Villa have nothing to lose. It’s a big occasion for Villa. I was there in 1982 and although this won’t mean much for Bayern fans other than it’s the ‘next’ Champions league game but for us it will be a big occasion. Respect to Bayern as one of Europe’s footballing giants, but whatever the result I will enjoy this game. My prediction is 2-2. UTV.

If, in the last UCL, Bayern could defeat the three best European Clubs on its way to the Semis only to be fored out by the controversial referring with such ramschacled and erratic performance in B'liga then we don't have any reason to be worried about the performance of this team that have been far too compact and stronger with additions of Olise and P'hina under Kompany.

guerrerio should play lb over davies, not central. If we dont need a player like palhinha, then laimer should do honestly. I agree its not upa and kims fault now, but lets wait 2 weeks until we start to see hard competition.

@@Sean21PMwe do need Paulinha he’s the CDM Bayern need. Kimmich and pavlovic are not CDM they both #8. We need defensive stability in the midfield. Against great with great attacking midfielder Bayern will get punish in the counter attacks and transitions.

@@Mason_23 it all depends on the opposition. Kimmich is good when you need a player that can pass the ball up the field, you need palhinha when you need a destroyer. Different opposition, different needs.
