Story goes that Anna Faltskog couldn’t make her TV appearance because she was about to give birth to Bjorn Ulvaeus’ baby, so Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Frida Lyngstad carried on with Inger Heinerborg standing in for Anna. I didn’t know about that. This begs the question: what ever happened to Inger Heinerborg? She was so attractive. “Ring Ring” remains a great song 50 years later.

Al no estar Agnetha, Frida destaca como nunca y brilla sin que la opaque el brillo de Agnetha. Entonces el público se da cuenta del gran valor de Frida, que no pueden faltar ninguna de las dos. Y no solo ellas sino que también ellos son imprescindibles. En realidad ninguno de los 4 integrantes de Abba pueden faltar. Destacable la humildad de la chica en su papel de doble manteniendo un perfil bajo como debió ser. Este vídeo es muy revelador. ♥

Actually, no! Frida is that groups professional vocalist and their natural front and enter entertainer pro. Read the story, how they became a foursome. It all starts with Stig Anderson/Polar Music. ABBA: Bright Lights Dark Shadows The Real Story of ABBA It is not fluff. Frida was a huge get by Stig Anderson/Polar Music. He was the one that signed Frida in 1972. It took him a long time to get Frida to commit to a pop group. Stig had his team all lined up by 1971. But no Frida. She left the foursome after their cabaret shows, winter of 70/71. Benny and Bjorn were Polar Music house producers. Agnetha and Bjorn were married and Agnetha came with Bjorn. But no Frida. She was not interested in joining a pop group as she preferred the challenging vocal centric genres. But pop music was more lucrative. In 1972, Stig finally got Frida as a solo artist and she agreed to join Benny, Bjorn and Agnetha. The foursome was now official. Stig eventually named them ABBA. Frida gets a lot of attention for her vocal skills, keen ear, etc... Benny, Bjorn and Michael Tretow, ABBA's recording engineer, considered Frida a master vocalist as did her peers. What her peers say about Frida's vocal talent/skills is golden. Frida was first noticed in grade school by her teachers. Soon garnered respect from music pro's. Sweeping all the talents hints. At age 13, 1958, still three years to young to work, turned pro. Age 13, owning her own way. More and more people are digging into ABBA, particularly the ABBA girls. What they learn is Frida has got a stellar reputation amoung her peers. Frida is the real deal. Before ABBA, she an actual professional working artist/entertainer: stage, theater, cabaret, TV and radio shows -- ALL Live. The real deal. She was not a record label gendered and marketed pop singer, which was Agnetha's route to ABBA. Frida was the real deal.
