Great tip on returning to Mitton University to do follow-up research instead of building at each hospital you open.

It does work wonders. There will be times when you'll need to open a research room in other hospitals. However, it's not too frequent.

Pointy Peak took me 3 or 4 retries to beat it. It's absolutely BRUTAL for a level! I loved the challenge, but not a level I'll ever replay again.

Hey, I have actually just recorded the last 3rd star episode for the campaign for 2 weeks' time. So, I was toying with the idea of the challenges, so, as you have mentioned it. Yeah, I will do that. They will be out mid-August for you. To be honest, I can't actually remember. It was that long ago now, and I have a memory of a sieve.

Quick question Jack! Is it only really necessary to place Stockpiles when your industrial buildings pop-up with the "Storage Inventory Full" icon? I have placed 4 coal burning huts in preparation for Winter (I'm in Fall/Autumn) in my 3rd year, yet I don't seem to have any coal being stored :/ Any ideas? EDIT: Also! Just curious... Are you playing on casual (not creative) mode or normal mode?

Hmm, interesting. If you click on the houses, do they have coal stored locally? It may be the case that they are being used up as soon as your little guys take the resource to the stockpile. Let me know what happens when you check. I am playing on normal mode, not casual, just so we can experience the full game with combat, etc.

Quick question about assigning head of household. Do you only need to do it for one home or do you have to assign one for each?

Good question. Each house has a head of household who will go out and get everything that the house needs. Usually, it's done automatically for you, thankfully, though.

I've literally just fiinshed this level (yes, at 1:30am when writing this comment...) I added a 3rd course (Counterculture), and moved the spy students to plot 3 to try and contain them (and the Moles). It worked well, until they all decided to swarm the Gastronomy/Counterculture student unions and one turned out to be a mole... SOOO many confused icons above peoples heads, took me a good 5 to 10 reloads to get the right person as they were never alone 😅

do we need commoners? I know they pay more tax but they don't do many peasant jobs, whereas peasants do many commoner jobs

They also work at some types of buildings peasants won't be able to work at. They are higher tier buildings that are mid to late game.

So, let me understand, the map you showed is not the map you used. I just spent 20 minutes looking at maps. Most are nothing like the one I see your game starting with. I see too many mountains, not enough trees and all have way too much water. What is a good seed number? Or I can just refund it now. I played the “map game” before elsewhere, takes forever to get a nice map

Trying to find a place at random with a river and dense trees like you have. When I get home from my appointment I will look for your map. I want to follow along and see if I can do this. Mind you I do play at a slower pace. Hopefully that won’t matter much. Will take time to understand everything to check etc. I enjoyed your streams that I viewed the past couple of days. ❤

I am sure you will enjoy it. If you feel like it's going too quick, you could always decline extra peasants to keep your numbers down while you get used to all the mechanics. 👍

It's completely up to you. You'll have plenty of space to build, plan ahead, but don't worry so much too as you don't know what new buildings you'll get access to.

9:35 Tip! I learned that your patients will pay ANYTHING, the key is to make sure they hv higher than 50% happiness, prior to treatment. The key is to keep Dx prices low as possible, then you can gouge them for Tx.

Hey, you can't move roads but they can be deleted and rebuilt. Same goes for buildings too. Gameover wise, would most likely come if you ran out of food, coal so keep an eye on your resources. It's a relaxing city builder so hopefully that won't happen though. When you first start there is a tutorial so I would suggest having that turned on.
