Had one a few months ago watching football at a friend's house...agree with everything you said! Great beer, very smooth and refreshing. Same recipe at MHL but the cold filtering is supposed to bring it closer to on off the tap taste. I also like High Life...if you did that blind test on these two I'd love to see it. Fantastic review sir!

I went back and watched your video on this Havoc Mead from 4 years ago and you liked this brew then as well but you were also talking about drinking the Ginger mead the day before and having to pour it out cause it was to strong in ginger lol

I think I have one of them in my garage fridge. I wasn't planning on revisiting it because i didn't like it. But since you mentioned it I think I will just to see if 4 years might have mellowed the flavor. Cheers, and thanks for the idea. I'll tag you when I post it.

You should be able to find some meads at a liquor store. They are a little more expensive than beer, I found these online. Most mead comes in wine bottles (because it's basically "honey wine"), and those can be really expensive. Good luck! The Vols have the potential to win out, however, their consistency on the field is questionable. I hold no hopes for the Natty, but it could happen. One game at a time, the Vols must play at peak to make it happen. Cheers & Go Vols!

All "Stouts" are technically Porters, they are just Stout/stouter(Higher Alcohol) Porters. its a way to sell beer with the selling point of higher alcohol without actually saying "higher alcohol" lol. i.e. you will see beers with vaugue saying like "High Gravity" "Bold" etc which is just code for more booze basically.

Rochester native and Genessee fan. It's worth trying the regular Genessee (red) and their 12 Horse Ale if you can find them, though they are rather rare to see anywhere outside of western NY. From what I recall, they are one of the oldest continuously ran breweries in the USA. Beer flavored beer is just fine out of a skanky mug. 45/47, cheers.
