Interesting comments. :) 1. Copyright abuse is not stealing. That's because in law there is no theft unless something is taken away ('deprived') from someone else. In this case the artist doesn't lose anything, apart from potential earnings. 2. It's going to be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to prove that AI has abused copyright, since it acts in the same way as a search engine. When Google indexes a piece of art, it automatically links to examples of it, as does Wikipedia. AI does the same kind of data scraping in order to build an idea of what a painting is. The model then uses that basic knowledge, like an art student does, to create something completely different on demand. The fact that it can make something similar to a Van Gogh, is no different to an art student mimicking a great artist out of homage. The key thing to note about AI is it doesn't piece together bits of artists work, it dissolves all existing art into a neural network soup, and then when asked to produce a piece of art, it un-dissolves art rather like a sculptor 'unveils' their piece from a solid block of stone or wood or whatever.

yes removing pieces from different images gluing them back together and apply a couple of different auto filters which anyone who has FREE access to petabytes of data with no law or regulations and a couple of hours of learning photoshop and different blending techniques could do, is not stealing, it's "leArNiNg" yeah great stuff.

It is definitely stealing arts from artist, and you already know that and that is why you are mentioning it already we are not stealing it, even if you are not using artist works directly when you are using their works for even learning purposes without paying them and buying the correct licenses that means you are already a big thief ... That was hilarious how they try to cover it :))

Suno (v3.5) is the best in terms of interface and the end result (expectations). BUT the sound quality is RUBISH. If you play it on speakers it's maybe alright. But if you listen on headphones - it's terrible. Way too many artefacts. If you get stems of audio (instruments and vocals), you can hear how terrible channels are. As I understood vocals only in mono, instrumentals are stereo. Udio's sound quality is way ahead. But it's way too random to be usable.

Although the az 901 is the best of the astro zoom cameras it's big flaw for me is the weight to Comfort of use as bigger cameras are heavier cameras and are therefore more uncomfortable to use I found that it's better to use bridge cameras that weigh around 1 pound or less and the best model that falls into that category in the astro zoom collection is the 425 which gives you a times 42 zoom and the 528 model is also a fairly comfortable model to use even though it weighs slightly over half a kilo but gives you a times 52 zoom for a little extra money than the 425

I haven't had a chance to revisit Suno in depth again , so I haven't tried the revamped interface. For the moment I'm still using Udio on a weekly basis, and while I find the inpainting feature to be more tricky than it should be, the rest of the Udio experience is still excellent. IMO. I'll be able to comment with more confidence once I retry Suno.

I gave Udio a try, by curiosity… I am not too concerned about the future as far as music creation is concerned. What these sophisticated tools produce is uninteresting recycled pieces of music. It’s like the filler material we produce out of recycled products. That’s all it can do really… it rehashes what already exists. No surprise is possible with this approach. It will get better for sure, but it will still just be recycled music at the end of the day. AI is incapable of intuition and originality. Some say it is a matter of time… maybe, but for the foreseeable future, there won’t be any real intelligence in AI.

Interesting, and I agree to a point. But there are clear cases of reports from AI researchers where emergent behaviors have been observed from AI which were completely unexpected. I have noticed some very surprising things from Udio that I never expected, such as strange but pleasant rhythm or vocal patterns. You're right, at the moment it's very basic and rudimentary, but I think we have to remember that this music platform is only some five months old!! Basically a new-born.

UDIO vs Sonauto vs SUNO, which one can I use my voice, I mean he can create the music with my lyrics and my voice only or with my lyrics, my voice and my instrumental? But creating music with my voice is crucial for me, I don't want an artist's voice? I am looking so much for this website ? And the AI create the music with my voice only ! That's really interesting. I have found the exact opposite. I started with Suno, but moved over to Udio because of the vastly superior sound quality, and production arrangement of Udio. The new audio upload and clip editing features are just the icing on the cake for me. But to everyone's taste, I guess.

the problem i have with Udio is that the songs are too short. it generates a legendary 33 seconds. If you look at Suno and Sonaute it's up to 2 minutes. that's why Udio is not usable for me (not yet) and when I see that nothing has changed on Udio in a month, I don't see much to come. the song length is still the same. i think and this is legendary my opinion, suno is better followed by sonaut
@NigelPowell
@NigelPowell 7 ай бұрын
Um that's simply not true. The initial clip is 33 seconds, but you can then instantly extend the track up to 15 minutes. There's been a huge number of improvements in the last two months too. Including inpainting, clip editing, re-write lyrics, and more. I suspect you haven't looked at it properly recently.

@NigelPowell 7 ай бұрын
@@chesterhill5693 yes the first clip is 33 seconds. Then you select which of the two clips you prefer, and press the Extend button. You'll see it in the track settings or if you click on the three dots. Once you do that, you get a choice of adding a normal extension, or adding an intro or an outro. You can also choose to add your own lyrics, or instrumental or let the app do all the work. Once that extended clip has been created, you can repeat the process until you have the length of track you need. There's a lot of KZbin guides to help if you need. Also check out the featured songs on the front page to get an idea of length etc. Good luck.

What’s the purpose of music? It’s about evoking emotions. Can a song make you feel excited, melancholic, energetic, or sad? Can it make you stand up and dance? Can it make you reflect on something substantial? This should be the aim of music. I feel like many people wouldn’t care whether it’s AI generated or not. As long as it makes them feel something.
@NigelPowell
@NigelPowell 8 ай бұрын
That's actually a GREAT question, and one I've been wrestling with since Suno hit the streets. What I haven't quite got to grips with yet, is how important is the addition of a 'shared experience' to the whole music impact? Is popular music important because of the emotional impact, or because of the shared experience of fans of the artist? For example, can I get as much pleasure from listening to my own music at home that no-one else hears, or do I need validation and a collective enjoyment to get the most out of it? I haven't come up with a valid answer yet, but I suspect that it may be important to AI music in the long run. Whether it's listening on the radio, watching top of the pops or attending a concert, there's huge amount of 'we' involved in the pleasure of music, isn't there?
@Adan_Ivory
@Adan_Ivory 7 ай бұрын
@@NigelPowell That's actually a very interesting train of thought. I had the same thought a couple of days ago. To be honest, imagining that in the near future most people will listen to their highly individual playlists consisting of tailor-made songs is a thought which I don't want to be realized. I believe in the power of the collective experience. This also aplies to music. Maybe it will be a mixture.
