What can we do about that hose, it keep getting shocked. Is it anti static anyway?
@Igor-q3fАй бұрын
Do you make a swivel hose end? The old hose end keeps unscrewing off all the time where connects to the sander.

why not add the dust shroud to an upgrade of the Mirka Deros or increase from 150mm to 200mm - think out the box - paddle stick - paddle stick - why why why why why?
@bjcworksАй бұрын
who is at the top office that felt this was a good design, if it's not broken do not fix it - I need to get 2 more of the paddle style, it should last me a lifetime - you need a good design that even makes life easier not this, looks heavy from the looks - did you guys consult carpenters, painters, and auto tradesmen before your tea, coffee biscuits approval?
@solomonquinn1041Ай бұрын
That start button is terrible. Who though that was a good idea. Seems so awkward to use the paddle style is so much nicer to use
@krzysztofmaciek4356Ай бұрын
No blower ? Festool has very functional hose . plastic hose scratches edges. Poorly thought out. Maybe you dust extractor is good but small details make the difference.

Hate the mirka hose. Its just too rigid and not cyclonic as claimed that draws the dust right in, always some falling out either ends of it

As I understand it, the hose does not have antistatic protection (no grounding)???
@MirkaUK2 ай бұрын
The hose is grounded through the dust extractor, providing antistatic protection

Why don’t you consider dropping the price of the extractors so decorators can actually afford them! Over a weeks wages doesn’t justify me buying one! You can probably buy 5 henry hovers for the price you sale them for

No explanation whatsoever, NOT informative, could have been sanding a sheet of plywood , and I would have come away with the same from viewing this video, my 5-year old could have made a better video, Mirka needs to ask themselves, What did the viewer take from this speechless robot?

Great work Chris, when do we see the next one? Why would this be better than the Lerso for sanding walls?
@tangodown27213 ай бұрын
No, the leros is purpose built for drywall this is a totally different product.
@GlassGenius6 ай бұрын
Its not necessary to use that many grades of disks. And it increases the chance of distortion. This video is helpful in that it shows a methodical approach and also hes capturing the glass dust which is better than having it floating around your workshop for the next 2 hours.

Don't see the point in this... No dual voltage.. No cordless sander.. No reason to buy if you already have one 😢

It's literally just an improved product. If you don't want to buy it okay. But why would someone looking for a sander not want a more powerful version.

Curious to see how this abrasive performs on curved surfaces (unfortunately a lot of manufacturers seems to give performance & longevity test results based upon perfectly flat surfaces) I make chairs and have tried all sorts of abrasive but have yet to find one that stands up well to curved surfaces. By far the worst abrasive I've used was 3M cubritron - the studf was dull after a matter of seconds on curved surfaces.

I make a lot of chairs too and have the same quest for a disc for chairs.. any recommendations will help.. i have the mirka deros 350cv 77mm ROS. But sometimes use the 150mm too

If the advantage of Ligno is getting the dust away quickly, how does this compare with Abranet, where all the dust is sucked away immediately? When would you use Ligno rather than Abranet?
@danielramos2092 Жыл бұрын
I'm literally wondering the same thing. How is this superior to abranet? Is this their answer to the 3m cubitron 3? Is it specifically for RAW wood or can I use it for primed wood and painted wood.
@MirkaUK Жыл бұрын
Hello! Good question! Ultimax Ligno is not a replacement for Abranet, they are different products with distinct features and benefits. Ultimax Ligno was designed for wood sanding with a superb level of dust extraction in a paper-backed product, bringing strong edge-wear and a beautiful finish on the wood grain. We recommend arranging a free on-site demo to see which of our products is best suited for your individual application. You can arrange this here… www.mirka.com/en-gb/products/top-brands/ultimax-ligno#Demo

Ultimax Ligno is not just for bare wood and can be used for painted and primed surfaces as well. We'd love to help you test it against any of our competitors. You can arrange this here… www.mirka.com/en-gb/products/top-brands/ultimax-ligno#Demo@@danielramos2092

32 mm hose beeps like crazy with brand new bag, clean filter. I have it hooked up to Milwaukee orbital and palm sander and mitre saw and other stuff, can even start beeping when connected to a mitre saw and there is definitely no significant obstruction to an airflow, I've tried dialling down on suction and hose diameter knob multiple times and when I think I found that sweet spot bloody thing starts doing it again. Wish I have bought L class or Festool
