Hi Jim. I’m sure I’m tuning to concert pitch but I’m nearly a semitone sharp to what I’m hearing from the video.

Mandolin is not at concert. It’s actually a hair flat. I’d changed the strings earlier that day and think they were still settling in. My apologies that it’s not exactly at pitch

Hello Jim, it never occurred to me that Jimi Hendrix would sound could be interpreted as Blue Grass but you have done it. I like it, would love to hear an ensemble play "Angel". Thanks for the post.

This is good, but Josh Turner’s version is all the round better. It may be a result of better recording equipment, but the tonal quality doesn’t allow the notes to sing out clearly d

Dynamite. I would love to hear you take a chorus. The tone on that axe is something else! Warm, loud, even, full….. the way I’d always thought a Grand Artist should sound. Makes me want to learn!
