Nice one, lead goose wudn't be the best eating though they always the oldest and wisest I was always told. Apparently the weak travel at front so they can set the pace too.

Is crow shooting a big thing in the UK? I live in the states and have never heard of anyone hunting them. #1 Crows are not that plentiful and don't seem to be a nuisance. A few years ago they seemed to flock in a town close by and there was a major issue about them in the paper from there. They did a lot of abatement for them sticky goo on windowsills and nail spikes on roof edges etc. They must've moved on because the flap about it just died down then stopped. So, do you have a pest problem and its ok to kill them?

Golden oldie!!?? ;) Great video, super valuable tips. Nice to see that you manufacture things yourself, you can buy everything, but making it yourself is a nice part of the hunt.

I'd have liked to seen you demonstrate putting them in the cradles. Have you ever thought about rigging something (spring or wire) on their wings to make them stand out and move in the breeze. Maybe break their wing bone if needed to get movement. I've seen the FF5 decoy but those are expensive to get in the states

That is proper 'fowling. You deserve every duck shot there. It also proves that you should never go fowling without a dog.
