I've been to Zion a few times, always in July. It's a beautiful campground with breathtaking views. We always stay in Watchman campground because you can actually get cell phone reception there. Also, it gets REALLY hot in July 🥵 Best thing to cool down is go for a dip on the river that runs next to the Watchman campground. I highly recommend this park to everyone. I paid ~$32 a day to stay.

Hi great video :) just curious when you booked did you pick standard view or woods view? I have standard view rn but idk I really don’t want to be right next to a parking lot haha
@lawrencappelletti25 күн бұрын
Thank you! 😊 We were in a woods view room, but in building 36, so we were technically backed up against a parking lot. The window didn't face the lot and there were a bunch of trees around so that could have helped. I did REALLY like being really close to the bus stop though.

@@lawrencappellettiYou can ask Bell Services to bring you & your luggage to your room when it is far away. I did in September when I was in Magnolia Bend, in Arcadian House (pool view room near the North Depot). Saves trying to fight with your luggage going over the bridge.

@lawrencappellettiАй бұрын
I'm probably guilty of over filling this dryer sometimes, but it's usually less than an hour. Typically it takes about 30-45 minutes 👖

When we lived on a narrowboat on England’s canals, I used to mak, and sell, large reversible bags. I cut out the fabric on the narrow aisle floor and sewed standing up at a kitchen worktop on my vintage hand cranked Singer….. those were the days 😊 A friend of mine currently runs her weaving business from her narrowboat.

have you actually had ups or fedx deliver a package to a state or federal campground site#? When we are parked in a private park they usually have a mail or package drop but I've been nervous about having it delived to a campsite.
@lawrencappellettiАй бұрын
I've never had anything delivered while we were at a state or federal site. Even sometimes staying on military base campgrounds, they've closed most of the mailrooms and no longer deliver to sites or even the main office. I have seen other people get all kinds of packages delivered to their sites at private parks (anything from a small amazon box to a mini fridge) . Maybe try ordering something from amazon to be delivered to your site? That way if there's any issues (missing, stolen, lost) they have a pretty flexible refund policy 🤔

I have been full time RVing for about 6 years but only with my sewing machine. I would love a video about how you store all your machines when not in use. I have plenty of sewing, cutting & ironing but storing my serger and other machines to take with us is a problem. we have too many other toys to carry with us.

I have a 1000 whr lithium battery power station. It can run a sewing machine for hours, more than a work day.

Lawren, thank you so much for posting this video. The craft wire idea was a life saver. We did not have wire but, we did have fishing line. You were right. The hardest thing was opening the black box. Again, thank you!! By the way, I think it is so fun to watch a fashion designer fix a fridge. I love the men of this world. They are beyond awesome. Honestly, they have my deepest respect and admiration. Our world would come to a screeching halt without them!!!! Seriously!!! I watched all their videos. They pulled out all the tools and cool gadgets. The snip, cut, splice, and rejoin. They are in their element with their tools. I understand what they were doing but I just kept looking for something easier, then I saw you. My husband and son were so funny. They could not understand how simple it was. They were ready to dismantle everything. I was at work and walked them through the whole process. My son is more like me. He is looking for simple so I had Dad give him the phone. Even my husband told me to contact you to thank you for your help.

You should get rid of any absorption refrigerator. Fire hazard. I know from experience. The chemicals leaked from the coils in the back and destroyed wiring that ran along the floor at the back of the fridge, shorting out the wiring. The fire totaled my 40-foot Country Coach diesel pusher. The RV ceiling turns into a broiler in a hot minute. My unit was working just fine until it wasn't. Also, the "normal" heat in back often results in charred wood usually noticed only when the fridge is taken out.

@lawrencappelletti5 ай бұрын
Thank you! It's pretty quiet unless it's not level. If it needs to be leveled up, you may hear the belt inside make some noise. You can just adjust the little feet at the bottom to correct it. I've had home dryers that made more noise than this, so I think you'll be fine. 🙂

Wow props 👏🏼 you got it Done and that's exactly how you can run that thermistor. The other way I do it is to cut the thermistor removing the connector that connects to the board and tape the new thermistor tip to the old thermistor and fish it thro that way. But good job your awesome.. Im a Rv technician by the way....

If you have a solar setup, you can boondock and run your sewing machine without a generator; which is what I do. And I leave my sewing machine in the box with the styrofoam too.

I would like to know how you do your regular curtains?? I like that idea
@lawrencappelletti5 ай бұрын
Funny enough, I actually bought a large blackout curtain from Target (cheaper than buying fabric, in this case), and had just enough to make new panels for both the large window next to the table & a smaller one behind the passenger seat. I have a bar above and below each window that is screwed into the wall, so all I had to do was measure out the fabric and sew a tube that I could slide over each bar. I also attached some leftover Velcro strips down the center. Voila! New curtains! 💪

Need to be careful with the washer in the tub as the water is not going right down the drain but backing up and you have electrical hooked up.
@lawrencappelletti Жыл бұрын
Good point! I should have shown it a little better, but there is some distance between where the washer is plugged in and where the water is accumulating. Thanks for watching! 💙

You should put a mesh net like a knee high attach on the bottom of the hose to catch the lint so it won’t go down the drain
