I use an awl to make a hole first so the screw goes in easily. Then after I apply the glitter glass I spray two coats of a firm hairspray to ensure any loose fragments of glass remain adhered. It doesn't effect the sparkle.

That's a great tip, Thankyou!

I can't imagine using these for a family, with children helping to put these on a tree. Somehow those tiny shards of glass are going to be everywhere, just waiting for fingers. Excellent suggestion of spraying the item with a sealer, though.
@minimaker5600Күн бұрын
And how about pets? I have a cat and I know these glass bits would end up in his fur, and hurt him when he grooms himself. I'll stick to regular glitter.

What you can do if your able to come to the bee yard again soon the brood will hatch in a few days if it’s capped you can leave the frames that have brood and take your honey they will hatch and you can come back and take the box With the few frames off they won’t have time to make a mess in the box
@TheFloralBeeGarden3 ай бұрын
I did go back after a week and the brood had hatched. I then put the mite treatment on. (Formic Pro strips)
