@2:12. Not good. Riding on centerline and directly next to cars leave you in a very vulnerable position. You’re creating dangerous situation for you, the Prius and oncoming traffic. Just stay behind a car until it’s clear to pass. -s1000rr

Ride your own ride. I am clearly waiting until it is safe to pass, not going into oncoming traffic. I also had an s1000r when I was a newer rider. ;p

@@reignsplittin8463 Except you got caught out in oncoming traffic several times. Riding on the center line doesn't count as not being in the opposing lane lol. You don't seem to be taking feedback from anyone here to heart so I'll just hope you keep getting lucky. Have fun out there!

I find it way easier to create space in the straightaways so that I can increase speed for the turns, just my two cents for what it is worth. Stay safe out there friend.

I mean... Riding in general is kinda stupid if you think about it. We are putting ourselves at greater risk for no real reason besides it being fun. And going fast down twisty roads is fun. The only risk they pose is to themselves. There's no pedestrians, if they hit a car the person inside wont be injured. The person who posted this is also very clearly a good rider, very good throttle control, good braking, doesn't overtake when he can't see what's ahead. He's doing what you're supposed to do when riding like this.

@@fixit9844 Thank you for your very informed response. I expect the hate and am okay with it. For some reason people cannot understand that riding is inherently dangerous. If you just accept the risk, do some track days, get some instruction and practice for years that you too might be able to ride this way some day. What you can't see is the rest of the group ride that is behind me. They are all newer riders and they are hanging way back.

I agree, I wasn’t really impressed with the livewire. I also had sales people (was at a Harley dealership) telling me how it would smoke any “crotch rocket” especially the crotch rocket (Aprilia tuono) I had rode in on. And after riding I told them it wouldnt smoke any proper litre bike. Especially after like 65 the power just dives. Cool for what it is but not for me

Motorcycles are not for you. 75 mph in a 30 mph, passing on the sidewalks and almost losing your life at 7:10 because you were not paying attention. You're obviously a new rider. You won't live long.
