Nicely captured! You picked a nice, quiet time of year to visit. Autumn is beautiful with the changing colors, the snow powdered mountains and full waterfalls! <3 For those wondering, this is taken from part of the guided tour in Viking Valley, Gudvangen, Norway. We're open every day, all year-round.

Hey, thanks for your comment. Vikings had their own religion and beliefs. While they raided other countries, lots of new traditions and ideas came up and merged with old ones. For example Christianity became a "main" religion in Norway and other Viking countries. This didn't of course happen over night :)

Because he took it from a Christian during a raid...
@Thorgrim_4 жыл бұрын
@@4KDriving They didn't become Christian from raiding or learning. They became Christian because at one point during the forced conversion they got two choices, convert or be executed. Please get your facts straight, and please read up on Norwegian history. It became a main religion because our first Christian king refused to accept traditions and beliefs, and because he would kill anyone who wouldn't become Christian. A Norwegian saying is that we were "converted with sword in hand", and for good reason.

This bridge, and the tunnels at both ends was built for replacing the more time consuming local ferry.. At 2:37 you'll see the parking lot for waiting in line at the ferry. The cost for crossing the Hardangerfjord at RV7 is approximately the same as before the bridge was built, only a lot more convenient.. For those of you NOT interested in paying for crossing the fjord there's a couple of alternative routes: RV50 and 52.
