Just curious do you still have your elite? Mine is 2 years old . First year. Had problems they said i needed a new fan took 5 months to get the new one first cook was ok but then started having problems again now they say its the control board waiting for the new control board. Hope this fixes things.

I bought both. The Panasonic shaves closer but struggles with stubble longer than 3 days. The Braun Series 9 handles long stubble better but doesn’t shave as close. Braun feels more solid and well-built, while the Panasonic feels cheap in comparison (body, not blade). Braun is quieter, while the Panasonic’s high-pitched noise is almost unbearable. I kept the Panasonic for its daily razor closeness, but Braun is the better-built machine.
