They could at least serve a small snack like pretzels or biscuits. Maybe not nuts because of allergies.

Something small like that would've definitely been nice, but I think most passengers would be fine with a small beverage.

Well since it is a domestic flight and most asians don’t have allergies, asian airlines don’t care about allergies as much as the western airlines

@AJ_74720 күн бұрын
I wouldn't say they're terrible for short flights, but for longer ones, they'd definitely get uncomfortable.
@karlp8484Ай бұрын
From a purely practical perspective, where the B717 catches you out is the carry-on luggage limitation. You can get off a B737 with your carry-ons only to find they can't get onto a B717 cabin - they have to be checked in. The A220 doesn't have this problem.
@copa-jungle-jet4030Ай бұрын
Although you need to buy entertainment, do they at least have the flight map available?
@AJ_747Ай бұрын
Yep, the map is free on both domestic and international flights.
@Jakey398Ай бұрын
I've only flown one time (arguably 2 but it was for the same holiday so I count it as one) - we used Jetstar and the only problem was the 4 hour delay on the way there. We also flew out of Melbourne, but I don't remember any of the information about it or even really what it looked like (sadly).
@AJ_747Ай бұрын
Yeah, I've seen that their flights to Thailand can sometimes be very delayed. I remember seeing a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne that was once delayed 24 hours! I recall it landing at around 11:00am and appearing red on all schedules, only to realise it was a day late...

you know what, i agree with you. their international arm is very good when you look at the price. and out of all the times if flown with them (3 times to honolulu and once to bali) they have been very good, the service was great. Jetstar is very good when they are good and compete very well, like id prefer to fly them from australia to japan over VA any day. the 787s are also just so good too. fantastic video as always brother

I love the shape of these planes and nickname them Dolphin Tail planes but as both an aviation nerd and a finance nerd I can see the reason why they are getting rid of these planes.......Look at the thickness of the seats.....The new Jetstar planes have a similar comfort level but the seats are much thinner........With the seats much thinner they can it in another two rows of passengers which means more money for the airline.....I didn't even realize airlines still had those thicker seats anymore,
@AJ_7472 ай бұрын
That is true, and because the seats are heavy, they make the aircraft weigh more which takes a toll on fuel efficiency... But, they're way more comfortable than most other short haul seats nowadays ahahaha
@davidhunt38082 ай бұрын
Oh that boarding music is so not good !! Wish they would change it to something better .

It's sad that they're going, as they're my favourite aircraft. But they need serious updating if they were going to stay. Loved your expression of 'shit show' for the lineup. I think the A220 is a great replacement, although I haven't flown in one yet. Great flight review and look forward to your next upload 👋
@AJ_7472 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching!! Yeah, I 100% agree. As you probably saw, the seats were battered in every way possible 😂 And yeah, Qantas definitely took an appropriate aircraft to replace the 717.

Bonza started off absolutely fantastic, but the rot has set in, cancelling lots of flights, a pathetic non refund process , taking far longer than in the terms and conditions. I've waited 7 hours on there contact app . A complete waste of time.
