I rotate about 20 shoes and this one is good! My Hoka speedgoat 6 are feeling neglected.

I bought a Race S for my wife. Is there any chance to get live tracking for this Suunto? My friend's Garmin Fenix 6 can send a 'safe follow' link via e-mail when he starts his outdoor run, and her wife can get an accurate follow of his Garmin in the wood. I do not find any similar option in the Race S yet.

HI Does the race have a slope calculation function? If I do hill repeats, does it tell me the gradient of the climb I'm about to run?

It’s a shame the new titanium model also doesn’t have sapphire glass

Wider toebox than te old model.( witch was way to tight ,specially when they are new). New loopholes on top is a plus.. but the sole is just to fragile.. and weara out pretty quick.. love the mid sole support tho
@ActionHub8 ай бұрын
Full agree on the reworked toebox. The previous Dynafits we tried were soooooo narrow and very difficult to dial in the sizing on.

Thanks for the review! I got those shoes based on your review about fit and I'm pretty happy with them so far (1 month) I run in muddy terrain, they grip well to mud and wet leaves, but lack grip on wet rocks. Easy to wipe the mud off when I'm done. The fit is indeed very long and narrow, which I found very nice, having a very narrow foot with long toes. The base under the toes runs quite wide, I like the stability it provides

can this stove use generic butane canisters or it has to be iwatani? I read something about this products own proprietary connection?
@user-mv4it2mp6z7 ай бұрын
Yes, the Four Winds stove uses regular butane canisters. I've been using Gas One canisters with it for about a month without any issues. My experience with the stove has been positive-it's a sturdy little appliance.

I have been using them on the trails and they are the best trail shoes I have ever owned. The thinner sole helps to maintain more stability on the more difficult trails I have run

That is not a "sustainable" shoe at all , because the sole is almost nothing but air. Your running on 25 smallish bumps ? How long before these will be worn away and change the performance/traction of the shoe completely ? At that point i will be obliged to buy a new pair and get rid of the worn out one ? Sure these could be great for short vertical mile style races , but long distances ? Throw them away after a race ?

Although I didn't see the bottom line on your T-shirt , the 3rd line should have some translation mistakes. trail means ‘越野’, ‘线索’ means clue.

Would you recommend those shoes for occasional runs in the city?
@ActionHub2 жыл бұрын
Definitely not. They are specifically made as trail shoes, so city running (which I assume you mean sidewalks/asphalt) isn't ideal for them.

it would have been nice to know if the cell signal dropped when in the case. all you had to do was record the screen and watch the video after you took it out. anywhere i can think of needing this would be places where theres little cell service to begin with so knowing this is a must for me

My iPhones always shut off in low temperatures there was one time I had charged my phone at work 2 hours before leaving then ten minutes after leaving work I got a phone call in the middle of the call my phone just stopped I’m thinking maybe the call dropped and got disconnected so I looked at screen it wasn’t responding to my taps so I pressed sleep / wake button and nothing happened my phone went completely dead I couldn’t understand why till I got on computer and come to find out it’s designed to shutdown In low temperatures to protect the battery once the phone warmed up I turned it back on but the battery level was down to 75 percent the cold had drain the battery that quickly and that day was the coldest day of the year it had to be 13 degrees that afternoon since then I use air pods to control phone without removing it from pocket I use Siri to dictate messages i want to send or read messages for me
