Well is it really? If you spread the Word that they have value, then the hobby Will be ruined for the real collectors who love the hobby and love comic books. Moreover, this Will lead to people who do not like comic books to try and flip them.

Good point, honestly it’s fun to put people in their place when they try and attack others for no reason. Hopefully people like him learn before they go on and attack others who may not be as fortunate as I was. Just discourages people sadly

haters like him won't change after watching ur response. they'll be MORE motivated to hate because you actually responded and displayed that it affected you. the best way is to just ignore it. me personally, if im extremely wealthy and have free time, i would barely be spending time on the internet and probably wouldn't even know ppl are hating on me. would be too busy enjoying my life, traveling with my friends or smth

@@another7674 you are right, I took about 2 years off this last few years and retired. But I struggle with anxiety so I can’t travel. So I build Homes and such, so I figured it would be fun to catalog it all and my journey. You are right though, it doesn’t help to respond. But sometimes it just feels nice to know, people can hear my voice in response to see who I am. I don’t make money from this, I don’t need the money. This is just all for fun

That’s the first appearance of the rework. I have the actual first appearance too. But they are larger cases that don’t fit on the wall since they are the 14x8 or whatever the size is books.

But tbh the movies are what were a huge catalyst for comics A lot of collectors are mad that new people can into comic book space. But it’s good. The more the better. One love

@@dominicandremoney well I do have a very good collection, but my ego isn't damaged enough (and my job is actually quite good as well) that I need public affirmation from strangers about how I live my life. I think being an influencer like this is as close to prostitution as it gets without actually doing something illegal. I welcome you to try a little emotional security rather than feeding the abyss of creating a "brand" that seems embarrassing for you to anyone who is watching.

Not on your own page, but on someone else’s. You may be struggling with something. I built a large following on science education and getting fortunate enough to retire from it. I created a new page to show case hobbies and interests I pick up, I make no money from this, nor care to. But clearly someone hurt you or upset you. Somehow hating on sex workers in the mix of your comment. Leads me to believe there may have been infidelity in your relationships or you felt neglected. In all seriousness, it’s just a video and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Sad to see a video from a stranger you clicked triggers you. Try just blocking the page and focusing on any internal struggles you may have

But I'd love to know when exactly you retired? Do you have 401k benefits? Any S&P funds or retirement index? Thank you for this! Good to note! I have about 5,000 nongraded books. But I don’t plan on selling. I love these books. I’ve just always had a rule that I don’t buy into any hobby unless it can return me money or at least retain some value just in case life happens. Otherwise I limit my spending on it

@@RevengeOfTheNerd actually no, I have over 50 books at CGC. Sometimes you can’t know everything from a chopped up video. Which is why I didn’t just go through all books. If this upsets you, maybe you need to work on yourself.

@@RevengeOfTheNerd but I’ll teach you some basics of KZbin. There is this new thing called a video description, often times you learn a lot when you read it. I suggest you go do that, and educate yourself before getting upset and your feelings hurt. Thanks
