I’ve made this blanket for many of my friends having babies, including one for my own baby! This blanket, with the chunky yarn and linked dc stitch, makes a wonderful play mat for tummy time. It’s my favorite!

Beautiful shawl but too far away and painful to watch the way the yarn is looped over the hook!

You know you CAN zoom in to get a closer view, right ? Also, if it’s too painful to watch her loop over, maybe switch to another channel ?

I’m going to make one for a tiny teddy bear I’m giving a friend, and this is perfect! Thank you so much for sharing with us!🩷 I was wondering how you came about crocheting with the hook and yarn in the same hand? my unsolicited suggestion- It would be a lot easier/smoother for you if you taught yourself the “correct” way to hold the yarn and hook. You would be able to go faster too 🌸

Every single Christmas tree skirt has used 2 strands of yarn for this even regardless of weight. Just worth mentioning

This is lovely. A couple questions 🙋🏼‍♀️ How big of a tree does this fit around? I have a 8’ tree. And how much yarn did you need for this.. like in yards? For the main color? Thank you 🙏🏻

This is cute and so grateful that it is free. Closer images getting very specific where to put the slip stitches that complete rows would have been way helpful for this begginer. Some KZbin tutorials take that moment to make that stitch super clear, and oh how it helps. I was trying to zoom in on each row but still struggle to see, especially completing the base.

This is insanely underrated it's so hard to find left handed videos on crocheting given more the the world population is right handed and this was super clear and I understood it the first time watching it your amazing <3

Unique way of crocheting!!!... You use the crochet hook as if you were using knitting needles; so am thinking that you are knitter first, and crochet second.😅...Nice pattern and I will be making many of your pattern for Christmas, so I thank You from the heart for sharing😊.

Why are you using such a big hook? That's why you have all those holes that take out the image of it being a cloud

what if we use this pattern with a size 6 chunky yarn? how many starting chains would be needed for afghan size?

Wow I’ve never before seen anyone hold hook and working yarn in same hand. So interesting I’ll have to try that. Were you a knitter before you learned to crochet?

I've never seen anyone use their right hand to wrap the yarn. I hold my yarn in my left hand and use my hook to catch the yarn. To each his own.

I'm a crocheter but I also have ADHD so I became obsessed with the vibes of these hanging plant holders...which led to me being obsessed with plants in general. 😂 I'm trying to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of felted plant pot holders, which are also so stinking cute. Thanks for this tutorial! Also, you crochet like a knitter. 🤭I'm guessing you learned knitting first? I'm the opposite hehe.

I crochet holding yarn and hook in right hand too. It’s because I was a knitter first and it was easier to keep my tension. Thank you.

Just finished! Excellent tutorial. Thank you so much. I used tricoloured pure Shetland wool and a 5mm hook and it worked great. I have never made any fake macrame before 😁

I got to the end of the crocheting by following the pattern on your web page, then realised I don't have a darning needle so I'm waiting for one to arrive before I continue. I'm using tricoloured Shetland wool and a 5mm hook because I tend to crochet too tight 🤦Really great pattern. Very well written. Thank you so much 💚💜💙

What I like so much about the crochet version of these plant holders is you have more selection of colors. I live in a small town and selection of macrame cord is limited. Yarn colors are easier to find. Thanks for this super cute design.

can this be done in a single stitch crochet? i have a double crochet blanket but the edges have holes because i think i chained one too many (i decided to roll with it) but i want to make my boarder tighter to the edge and my tension isn’t the best on my double crochet (proven by the blanket lol)

I've made a few of these and the part where the first petal and the last petal meet doesn't look right... like those two petals are father apart from each other than the rest. Idk what I'm doing wrong
