Well there other protests without trucks too that were not even nationally televised I was at one in Victoria had at least 10 000 people too but if you don't make enough noise they just ignore you. First responders held those silent protests the summer prior to the convey too largely just ignored to maintain that false narrative of a "small fringe" group when it was a huge groundswell movement actually.

We are retired and have lived in rural Alaska for 30 years. With less than 4 hours of daylength in December, looking for a 6-month rental to dip our toes in snowbirding. Any tips for winterizing the summer house in Canada?

I know what you mean about 4 hours of daylight. We lived in Northern Alberta (Ft. McMurray); but on the flip side, I remember in the summer having the midnight golf tournament. Winterising our Canadian property for our snowbird adventures involved turning off the water main into the house, setting the house thermostat to about 8 degrees Celsius (46 Fahrenheit), using either a wi-fi thermostat or buying a wi-fi enabled weather station to monitor your house from down south, and if you are concerned about security you can also get those wi-fi cameras. Also don't forget to put your phone and cable TV subscriptions on hold till you get back. We gave up our land line in favour of Magic Jack which works anywhere in North America and can run on your cell phone. Anyway, enjoy your snowbird vacation, and "Live Your Best Life".

Thanks Rosemary. You're right, I think the "progressive" churches do a better job of helping younger generations understand the wisdom of bible stories. I also believe that Pantheism would allow Agnostics and Atheists to embrace the wisdom in these stories as well. Especially if they are able to move beyond literal interpretations.

I talked to a former distributor of Simonize pressure washers. He said they change the design very frequently and discontinue all the old parts to make them obsolete. Not cool in my books. I did find the employees at Princess Auto very helpful when fixing my unit.

Darrell: nice video. I have had issues with that brand of power washer in the past as well. the "yellow" brand is better with parts availability and great youtube videos. One thing that is handy is having a set of "O" rings available in the shop. Princess Auto and others have sets on sale a few times a year....
