@@doriswiesike1417 I think you really had to be there and know the backstory to really appreciate that version of Baby, It’s Cold Outside. The night before Ryan & Lesley had been to a Broncos game there in Denver and the temperature was freezing cold and snowing, and they got stuck waiting for their ride back and both were freezing cold by the time they got back to the place where the concert was happening and they were staying.

Yes, you’re right. Just as a note; I am also a lefty and many years ago I took guitar lessons. My instructor told me it was best to just learn to play right-handed. She said it might even make the chording easier using my left.

I wonder if I am being unkind laughing at Ryan being embarrassed or at least uncomfortable singing Moondance and being distracted by the fans. The subject matter of the song I assume would not be something he would talk about in the same situation. I am a new fan so I don ‘t know him well but he keeps personal things private. He handles himself well and is kind to his fans, I feel.

Honestly, I have known Ryan and followed his career since 2012. He was in no way, shape, or form embarrassed by the reaction of the crowd. In fact, he loved every moment of it, and every time the fans cheered and screamed when he growled romance, etc. That was exactly the response he was looking for. If you are a new fan, then you are not fully aware of how he has played the “dark destroyer“ in many of the Celtic Thunder shows. In other words, he was the “bad boy.” Check out his Celtic Thunder duet of “That’s a Woman” with Paul Byrom if you can find it on KZbin. Another good one was “Midnight Well” from the Celtic Thunder Storm DVD. Ryan loves the dramatic stuff on stage, which yes is somewhat different from his off-stage persona. Another video you should look for is “Heartbreaker” from the CT DVD “The Show Act Two.”

Only recently discovered Celtic Thunder and Byrne and Kelly… 👏👏👏👏Husband and I have Covid, and are now isolated at home, but listening to your video of Byrne and Kelly is the best medicine ever! Thank you so much. This song, in particular, could be my family history (on both sides)! Thanks for helping to make Covid a bit more bearable.
