Liston was 33 years old so he is not old as much as people describe !! not old to get destroyed like that !!? Ali just made him a joke ;;; ali in age 33 , 34 , 35 beat lyle , fraizer , norton , shavers they were very hard and great fighters ,, the point is even if sonny in his prime he could not beat ali so stop saying ali could not beat prime liston and remember before this fight sonny beat floyd in the 1st round when floyd was in his prime and all the fans of boxing know how good floyd was

Douglass did indeed dominate the fight, but if you look when he got knocked down in the 8th. Something wasn't right with the ref.He wasn't going to let that fight end right there. His delay in counting is proof his body language is proof.but kudos to Buster for a really good fight

Douglas the first boxer to beat the unbeatable and nothing in the world can take that achievement away from him.

Frazier wasn’t intimidated in the slightest. When you’ve got the determination of a honey badger and the heart of a lion you’re the intimidater. The tenacity of the man was truly amazing. Two unbelievably tough fighters.

I understand the concept of “quiet” but the Japanese people not reacting during the hype moments in the crowd irritated and annoyed me.

Mike wanted to fight, but I think Golota was paid off. It won't be the first time a promoter paid one fighter to show up and not do too much. Mike would have won either way, but it looked like a behind the scenes deal from Don King or someone like that. They put money on Mike and paid Golota to make sure they won the bet.

I don't know why there was a controversy. It was clear to me; the tiebreaker was the knockdown. But let there be no doubt, this will always be the GREATEST BOXING MATCH my dad has ever seen; once I saw the match myself, I turned to my dad and agreed.

I would have loved to have seen Ali fight Frazier in 1966 before exile. Frazier would have never laid a glove on him and we would have never heard the name Joe Frazier again.

As a relative young guy myself (teen) it’s amazing to learn the history through boxing Question for those alive at the time of this, what was you’re experience when you found out Tyson lost?

As many times I've watched this fight it's same thought. It's like the referees doing everything but holding Joe Frazier and letting Ali punch him. If I was Frazier's corner I'd been flipping on the ref every round about the damn holding behind the neck and the clenching from Ali in this fight. Ali was a great champion but he got away with a lot of that kind of crap.

Joe hated Ali so much, that he was willing to die. I remember crying after Ali lost. I was 9 years old and believed Ali won the fight due to my being a fan. Back then, they never showed this fight on TV, but as I watch it now, Smoking Joe deserved that victory. Although I would say by split decision not unanimous. Come on now, one judge scored it 11-4? A lot of people hated Ali back then. When I say people, you know what I mean. The only way Ali was going to win this fight was by knockout! Greatest fight of all times nonetheless.

At 48:32 Berbeck: "was it the second round?" That shows you how vicious the punches were by "Iron" Mike. Classy interview overall by Berbick. He seemed like an honest guy who just happened to be champion at the wrooong time.

I love Ali but smoking Joe beat Ali at his peak, Ali was Joe's friend when he couldn't fight because he wasn't going to Vietnam and Joe lent him money so he could survive and also fought for Ali to let him fighting again, then Ali started to speak badly about Joe and went to the point of insulting his wife and children, Ali may be the best heavyweight in history but speaking of his integrity as a person the guy was a cretin, Also remember that in the last fight between Ali and Frazier Ali was going to abandon the fight but he won because Joe was not allowed to continue fighting due to the eye issue, speaking the truth the Parkinson's that Ali developed was mostly sponsored by Frazier's fists.
