there is no instruction whatsoever in that there are seperate front or back panels???? i'm so confused i thought the front and back was one unit

So, is the body supposed to be 2 pieces? because it doesn't say that anywhere. I made one long piece but now the assembly makes no sense.

sameee!!! i'm honestly just gonna try and wing it bc the lace pattern is so pretty, but i made the ribbing and its the perfect size for the whole thing but apparently you're supposed to make multiple panels?

For those asking about yarn, I made a size S version of this cardigan with a few modifications and needed around 23 balls of yarn (50g, 5 ply, 80% cotton 20% acrylic). Hope this helps!

After following the instructions exactly, my sleeves aren't "ballooning".. any idea what i can do?

Don't know if you figured it out, but wanted to help. You need to add more rows to your sleeves to make them longer. The balloon effect comes from the sleeve material puddling at your wrist. Also notice her wrist bands fit against her wrist. Not too tight though. Should be able to fit your fingers between the sleeve and your wrist. You can pin fit your sleeves onto your bodice to try on until you find the perfect length and fit for your arm length. Hope that helps.

I don’t understand why do we need to make a knit row after each rib stitch row? In other tutorials rib stitch is only p2, k2 without k row in between… it’s my second attempt to this top and it still don’t look right even though I do it exactly as on the video 😭

I started mine a few weeks ago. I thought this same thing, I’ve knitted beanies and did a perfectly easy ribbing with a k2 p2 so this was definitely harder to catch on to. I’ve recently picked it up and started working on it again because I LOVE the way it looks. I I’ve come to kind of like it, it also helps me make sure I’m constantly having the correct amount of stitches. I’d say it’s worth the amount of struggle it’s given for the knit row in between. I’ve knitted around 5 inches in total in two days which seems pretty nice to me 🥰 * came back to see how to cast off cause I like to know ahead of time and I was going through the comments and I just was thinking omg someone asked the question I’ve been asking myself for days now. so sorry for this essay 😂😂

I have a question, it's too complicated 😕 So on the back side, there's 12 squares, and so as front! But in 14:07 ,how did she sew them? Ik it's too complicated to explain my problem! I loved this sweater and how you teach it! My issue, though, is that I'm from Brazil and our weight measurement scale for yarn is totally different...we use something called TEX, from texture. The higher the tex, the bukier, thier the yarn. I'm trying to find a comparable chart online, but it's been hard. In case anyone reading this knows anything about these convertions, please let me know! Thanks for your great work! :)
