To many redundant tools. What part of NE you located?

As a local I’m right there with you, most locals love the bikers and or the enthusiasts,there’s a Pakistani who has like 20 plus tshirt tents, and as for gouging your right there’s nothing wrong with making money but overly high prices locals hate it, and if the glencoe camp ground is as close to the old rally as you can get, and as a local if you actually want to ask a question most of us will be more than willing to answer you, and as a local I pretty much ride my at home after being run into by beginners I think after getting hit three times in one day I will just ride before and after, and there is the brewery now up and running off the junction exit that has a large variety of craft beers,

I’ll have to check that out. The knuckle has a decent one now too but the name of it eludes me at the moment.

You should have changed your fuel filter you were right there.
@LifeontheBlacktop23 күн бұрын
It’s not due for another 10k or so. I’ve already changed it once.
@Wally2Feathers23 күн бұрын
@@LifeontheBlacktop Copy that. Maybe I change mine to often. I do mine with every riding season, along with the oils and oil filter.
@LifeontheBlacktop22 күн бұрын
Probably a little much for the fuel filter. It’s an automotive style filter so it’ll go 100k before it needs changed. I do everything to service manual and mine calls for every 25 or 35k, I don’t remember off hand, but the following year they changed it to 100k and it’s the exact same part number.

@@LifeontheBlacktop I know it's off topic Do you notice any milage increase's after you do change your fuel filter? Mine was black as coal and couldn't believe any fuel could get through it.
@LifeontheBlacktop20 күн бұрын
@@Wally2Feathers I have paid attention and not noticed a change at all. In theory, the more plugged it gets the better fuel mileage you should get since it would be leaning out the mixture a bit, but I think there's enough pressure where you wouldn't see that until a lot of miles or after a bad tank of gas.

I checked the tranny fluid on a 08 Streetglide i bought. After putting maybe 2k miles on i checked it and i could barely see it it was so clear. It registered but it was like it was brand new. Guy said he changed it before i bought it, but it literally looks brand new. I was expecting some color. Im guessing he maybe used syn 3.
@LifeontheBlacktop7 күн бұрын
Hard to say. Syn3 is just motor oil so it has the typical amber color but it is slightly more clear. That’s another reason I like the redline, I know it’s there lol

thinking about getting these for my 23 Street Glide - where can we get the accessory switch? the one for Harley is 150 dollars and is hooked up to a harness seems like. How bright are these? On a scale of 1 to 10 - how much more visibility was there?
@LifeontheBlacktopАй бұрын
Links are in the description 👍🏼 as far as brightness, it seemed quite a bit better but I can’t really answer that since this isn’t my ride. I’ve heard a lot of good things though.
@davep8750Ай бұрын
found it - still would like to know how bright they are - anyone have these and can comment? Much appreciated
