We hunt the clean boot and that means not the animal and not the scent. We have a group of human runners (known as quarries) who don’t drag or have a scent on them they run a route only they and our hunt master knows and the hounds follow the scent of human sweat. Absolutely no animals involved. If you look during the third hunt you can see and hear our hunt master keeping the hounds attention when a group of deer run right in front of them, none did anything they stayed with their master.

No we hunt human runners known as quarries no animals get chased or hunted we hunt humans to keep hounds able to be bred and wirked

Hi, in your area, what does the yellow ribbon indicate?

Yellow indicates a disabitly of some sort. I am the rider on the chestnut and my sister on the grey. I’m mostly deaf and therefore don’t hear noise and therefore ponies approaching from behind me. It’s basically a warning to other riders that I may not respond or may need a bit more space than others

I don't like this, does it have any purpose but to kill a fox? When I was younger my father brought back a fox from his work. The little lad was injured and stayed with us for several years. I see nothing about the hunting of beautiful animals being killed only for a bunch of ladies to feel better and call themselves game sportsman. Get a real life ladies!!! U make me ill!!

Thanks so much for this video. It's keenly appreciated. We don't have bloodhound hunts here in Australia. It would be fun to ride with a bunch of like-minded people and to watch the hounds work.

were a clean boot hunt, that means there's human runners, known as quarries (they don't carry/drag anything) and our hounds are laid on where the runners start and the hounds track the human sent and 'catch' them by catching up, curling or slobbering on them
