Awe…I missed this live by less than an hour. Im watching this now actually. & I also watched John’s video this afternoon & I shared it on my channel as well. He had a very good and very informative video and presented everything in a calm way. I still can’t believe all of this reptile lighting nonsense is going on. I don’t understand any of it….1st they want to ban 75% of our reptiles & now they want to ban the lighting/heating that we use to keep our reptile buddies alive & thriving. I am at a loss of words about this whole entire ordeal 😳😵‍💫🤯 I just hope that this whole issue will be resolved sometime soon ! All of my heat lamps are Arcadia products… so hopefully this won’t affect the Arcadia brand since they are in the U.K. Maybe you can put a post up about the Arcadia products ? The Reptile Basics website is the best site to use for reptile products & they also have a lot of the Arcadia products on there as well. & their products on the website are reasonably priced also ! In the meantime… I will also post your video about this on my channel as well !

The repti tuff bulb is for heat, zoomed also sells a 5.0 uvb compact bulb for turtles. I saw a list of bulbs in question, it included the heat bulb but not the uvb bulb. Not sure if the list was incomplete. I read that the issue is that the zoomed bulbs are classified as “general service” bulbs and they don’t meet the requirements for that type of bulb (min lumens per watt). Hopefully there is a different classification that can be applied. I stocked up on both bulbs last week while I can still get them.
