Is a heated water phase then not required?

If none of the ingredients need heating (in order to melt), then your whole formula can be cold process.

Do the Dynamic Dynamix blenders produce a lot more air than the silverson/ika homogenizers? do they mix as well ?
@MakingSkincare
@MakingSkincare 9 ай бұрын
it depends which model of Dynamix and which model of Silverson. You'll need to completely immerse the head in either case and avoid moving the head around to minimise air

It depends on the formula but you could try Carbopol Aqua SF-1 or SF-2 or Aristoflex BLV. For SF1/SF2 to work you need a sulfate surfactant of at least 12% active matter and bring pH up to 6.5-6.8.

I love the norpro mini mixers, they are definitely a must have! Especially for small batches where you can't use a homoginizer or immersion blender. I have 2 of them and a smaller one from a different brand that just has one attachment and it will fit in a bottle.
