Hi Marla, thank you for the tutorial! I've never painted with watercolors before although I have the paints and paper, maybe I'll start something over the winter season. I might make a small suggestion for the next tutorial you do - zoom your camera in closer to the painting, it's a bit hard to see what you were doing on this tiny piece. 💖
@OrsinisAngels Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the suggestion. It is a very tiny painting, will try to zoom in closer next time <3

Thank you for making this video! How did you made the nose inside of the doll head? / make the point of the nose inside?
@OrsinisAngels Жыл бұрын
I used a small pompom in the tip of the nose. I believe it was 5mm. I purchase them at Michaels. So glad you enjoyed the video <3

Hi! I have a project where I am making a life size doll. What would you recommend for needles, etc.? Thanks!
@OrsinisAngels Жыл бұрын
Hi Morghana I have never made a life sized doll but if I were to I probably would use long doll making needles. In the past I bought them at JoAnne Fabrics.

Can you show us how to make sew the head?
@OrsinisAngels Жыл бұрын
I used the digital download class the Goddess for the head which includes complete instructions on how to create and sew this doll . You can find it by clicking on this link to my OrsinisAngels Etsy shop here: www.etsy.com/listing/1109198034/the-goddess-instant-downloadable-pdf I also have a free tutorial on how to make a cloth doll needle sculpted head on my OrsinisAngels blog by clicking on the link to it here: orsinisangels.blogspot.com/p/free-tutorials.html You can use the needle sculpting techniques I shared in this video on most needle sculpted cloth doll patterns. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching my video

If you feel like it is too difficult, its really not. It just takes a lot of practice. I needle sculpted cloth dolls for 30 years. You should see my first dolls. There are many that went into the dead head pile because they were just pretty awful lol! If you are a dollmaker just focus on having fun and as you do your skills will continue to develop as you play <3

Hope this helps. warm hugs, Marla
