TV exposure for the Olympic events can only be described as a DISASTER! How in the world can any Olympic Games give proper coverage to so many events at the same time? There has to be a way for the Olympic Committee to incorporate other venue's to give full attention to various sports. Financial business I'm sure could be worked out and then basketball, tennis, golf among other sports can be shown in their entirety to viewers all over the world and then highlights can be shown on the official Olympic feed to it's viewers. If the Olympic Committee wishes to keep everything in their bag the final result will be negative to say the least! Yes, I know some of what I suggested is being accomplished but they need to broaden the scope of what they're doing. I mean, come on now, basketball fans can care less about who wins a swimming race, etc., but they will stay glued to a broadcast featuring the top basketball games (men and women).
