I live out on a ranch in south Texas. I have 8 rescue cats. Trust me, they are loved and cared for. When I walk to check the mail, almost a mile round trip, I always have 3 male cats that go with me. They will always explore left or right of the road, but one short whistle, they emerge and catch up. Even on non-delivery days, we make that walk to the mail box. We go in the morning, safer that way. Evening brings predators. Lots of work, but these 8 cats have a good life. They are good companions. My 4 rescue pits are sweet and guard them. They never let coyotes get close to the house. They have caught a few so I do not doubt their fidelity or fighting skills.

People really irritate me when they are filming their cat "being bad", telling the cat no, don't do that, stop it, stop. If their behaviour is truly that upsetting then STOP FILMING, PUT THE PHONE DOWN and deal with what ever it is about the cats behaviour that upset you, and THEN resume filming. Otherwise you are just filming to put on social media because YOU want attention, not to share your cat with other cat lovers on the internet. Same goes with dogs. Also, when you deliberately scare or freak out your animal because YOU think it is "hilarious", it is not "hilarious" for your animal, it is genuinely causing your pet fear, panic, stress and anybody that does that deliberately to an animal does not deserve the love or loyalty of that animal, and should never be allowed to have any kind of pet until they grow up and show that they actually understand the responsibility that comes with pet ownership.
