I understand the frustration with the commercial yarn. I've been screwed twice. Once by red heart and once by knit picks and the dye lot numbers were the same on every skein. I check everything under sunlight now because of that. I don't trust dye lots and quite frankly I think these companies should be held accountable.

Your hoodie looks great! - maybe on the last third, stop helical knitting and just do the darker skeins - It will be a fade! It really does look good!

Cute socks! I'm in Florida and luckily our neighborhood wasn't hit as bad. We lost power for about 30 hours but it was restored thankfully. There are still a bunch of people without power though and there's a lot of damage in some parts of our town.

The only way we can see the lights here in TN is to take a photo in Night mode. We had a lot of pinks. The Northern Lights were also here in May but back then we had more purple and green

Many years ago, mice built a nest under the hood of a vehicle we didn’t drive very often. Thankfully, I’d heard weird noises from birdseed rattling around inside and we promptly evicted them. They work pretty fast, though!

I really enjoyed working with Remix Light on my Ranunculus. It is generous yardage even though it isn’t necessarily a “fine” yarn. Your knit leaves look really good! I love that idea.

Your background music gives me “waiting in line for a haunted house” vibes, but then there’s chamomile tea and juice on the other side. 😅 I bought glow-in-the-dark yarn this afternoon to make some ghosties.
