Born n bred in Otara, Edward Ave. Our family lived with our nena and my siblings and I attended Bairds Primary, Mr Morley was the principal. Otara Town Centre had a New World, Farmers and even a fountain. The best fish n chip was run by Russian whanau. The Otara flea market back then was well known and really popular. So many good memories.

We have to understand this piece of land in South Auckland Otara is a cursed land. The people of Otara builds on a land most know nothing about so suicide rape slashing open skin is not understood especially Samoan culture. Wow, the way these young adults communicate how they speak English their bright mind. Most today don't really have an identity or hope belief system anymore. 👆💯💯

Bro, my mind is blown that uncle Charlie laid vocals on Computer love. Can’t even listen to it the same again.. such a classic and yes, should have won a Grammy because this song transcends music.

And I and my family still go out to Grey Lynn for church sometimes and we still live here in the area; well, now called Clover Park 🫥 used to be called East Tamaki / Otara / Wiri? Well for the area I’m in 🥴. Sometimes I wonder about why my parents would never leave South Auckland 😴 oh well ♥️

But that just shows you that the record companies don’t know nothing. You heard this song and fell in love with it from the very beginning because you know hits, and thank goodness that the man, Mr. Roger Troutman, one of the baddest man to every his own sound asked you to jump on that song and you jumped on it and wrote it all the way to a great hit God bless you, Charlie Wilson. I hope I get a chance to work with you one day.🫡🙏🏽🏁🔥

why has doesnt changed? Thank you Rawiri for being truth in 1970's .. humans may grow up and be wiser? To be honest.. I walk your path shaking our head. No Rawiri.. humans are not that wise. They keep excusing themselves... God is made in the image of a human. .. the 2 legged species are ordinary and slow. Thank you Rawiri for your fight un heard . Can only wish them all the best for the next 1000yrs or whenever
