I saw them the week before in NorfolkVA, and it was easily a Top 5 all-time concert for me. No snazzy lights, no special effects. Just a band that was ON FIRE. I’m so thankful for these Bowery Ballroom posts.

I've been listening to Catherine Wheel on Spotify the last couple of weeks. I'd heard of them before and like a number of their contemporaries but had never listened to Catherine Wheel themselves before now. Firstly, I have to say, what a fantastic band! But I was listening to Ferment and there was a repeated lyric in one of the songs and I thought, 'surely he isn't singing what it sounds like he's singing.' I have to say I'm disappointed to discover that indeed, the correct words are NOT '...your skin is like Nutella'.

Great begining but Liam slacking on holding the notes. I get it, it's hard holding those notes on the chorus but cmon that's his job and it's Thier songs so sing them properly!
