I'm late to the party, but your story sounds almost identical to mine! I have a scheduled C-section in 4 weeks from today. I am praying for God’s guidance as I would like to experience a vaginal birth, but ultimately want what’s best for my baby and myself. I have had two emergency C-sections. My son was induced because I had gestational diabetes, and my Dr. thought my baby was going to get too big. For some reason, my contractions were extremely long, and it put a lot of stress on him, causing his heart rate to drop, which ultimately led to an emergency C-section. I think it was the way my body responded to the Pitocin. My daughter would not progress past 8 cm dilated, and come to find out; she was Sunny side up. I believe these factors contributed to me having to get C-sections. I am now pregnant with my third baby, and I said the same thing: if I meant to have the baby naturally, then I would go into labor before my C-section is scheduled.

And the specific, clearly calculated words you used to try and guilt people. You have no idea of everyone's circumstances and you shouldn't care to stick your nose in someone else's business. But of course, a clump of cells is such a blessing to anyone in whatever way it came to be 🙏🏽 PS. I'm not pregnant, I want kids more than anything else in this life, but I'm decent enough of a person to know I can't have them right now. It'd be the most selfish thing of me to do to try getting pregnant or to keep an unexpected pregnancy. Life is not as cozy and easy for everyone.

I have paraplegia and its hard to open hips wide so its up to my doctor to let me know what position is best for me. If ur a healthy mom without a high risk like me that is when u fight for your rights and choose ur position. My mom had three of us the normal way with paraplegia. I got the genetic illness from my mom. So if she can do it why not me.
