bore it, get a race carb and race gearbox, more power and its n,1,2,3,4,5 easier and quicker for the bike itself.

Nice one, I took up enduro a year ago having next to no bike experience. You did better than I did first time out. I’m racing now (H&H and cross country). I look back and realise how far I’ve come (I’m still rubbish by racing standards 😄). It honestly just improves naturally the more you do it. Main thing is to enjoy it. And seriously it’s so much easier when you are travelling a bit faster. Getting faster safer will come soon enough just time in the saddle so don’t feel the need to rush to it, it’ll just happen naturally. I still have days when I feel like I’ve never ridden before lol. My top tips are try and not stare straight in front of you, scan up ahead and watch vids on techniques so you have something in mind to practice each time. It’s great fun you’ll love enduro. It’s the friendliest sport out there so always ask anyone for tips and help, people like sharing what they’ve learnt or picked up. Sometimes Marshals at events will ride around with you giving you some tips if you chat to them and explain you’re new. I’ve got loads of great free tuition this way 😄

Had a lifetime of big, fast road bikes and riding like a maniac. Got into motocross a year ago and have been so humbled. When a 13 y/o girl overtakes you twice in one lap in makes you realise how far you have to go. Stick at it and trust me, things will get better and better along with a bit of pain. BTW, you're on a four stroke so stay in a higher gear than feels natural, the throttle won't feel like a light switch being switched on and off and don't be scared of going a bit faster than feels comfortable.

@@charlesduggan7600 I was the same when I’d ridden mx first time ever, way out of my comfort zone so I went at my pace but just made sure, I was out of other’s way at the same time 😅

Hey man, first time riding enduro? Well done, regardless of how it might look on camera etc - the main thing is you went out there and gave it a bash. We all have to start somewhere - 4 strokes are generally more forgiving, especially with engine breaking. Can I ask what cc it is? Sometimes to heavy of a bike to initially learn on can add to the challenges of learning.

@@motobad174 Glad you enjoyed it bud! 500 husky is a fairly big bike to learn to do enduro on but if you're mainly green laning, it's not so bad.
